But aren't these personal problems?
Yes, these are personal problems - until they begin to affect the employee's job performance or family life.

If left unsolved, these problems can affect the morale of co-workers and the overall effectiveness of the organization.

The confidential assistance you can receive through your Employee Assistance Program is designed to prevent these problems from becoming more serious.

Who will pay for the cost of services?
The EAP sessions are free to employees and their family members living in their household or who are dependents.

If further assistance is necessary, your regular health insurance and/or other benefits will be considered.

If you need other services that are not covered by insurance, your EAP counselor will try to minimize the cost by making referrals to the most appropriate resource.

These expenses will be your responsibility.

When applicable, sick leave, vacation time or leave of absence may be used.
