MaineGeneral's Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care (HACCC) is the leader in cancer care in the Kennebec Valley and beyond.
We care for more than 12 percent of Maine's cancer population and see more than 7,000 individuals with a cancer diagnosis annually, including more than 1,100 newly diagnosed cases.
We treat many types of cancer including:
- Genitourinary (including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and penile)

2013 marked the sixth anniversary of the opening of MaineGeneral's Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care.

In 2010, the HACCC became one of the first 16 cancer practices in the United States - and the first site in Maine - to be recognized by the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI®) certification program. The program was recertified in 2013.
Our highly skilled, experienced staff - combined with our state-of-the-art facility and technology - allow us to provide patients with the best care close to home.
