Phototherapy
Phototherapy uses ultraviolet light to treat skin disease.
Many skin diseases are treated with phototherapy. Some of the most common are:

Medical phototherapy differs from tanning booths in that phototherapy is treatment under medical supervision to maximize its effectiveness and safety.
