MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care (HACCC) in Augusta, Maine, brings hope and healing to patients and families from a cancer diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.
We offer a complete range of treatment and support services, close to home. If you or a loved one are facing cancer, we will help you make the best choices for your needs and situation.
We care for more than 12 percent of Maine's cancer population and see more than 7,000 individuals with a cancer diagnosis annually, including more than 1,100 newly diagnosed cases.
We treat many types of cancer including:
- Brain tumors (malignant and non-malignant)
- Gastrointestinal (GI)
- Genitourinary (including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and penile)
- Head and neck
We are a proud partner of the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network, a coordinated system of care, with the support of the Harold Alfond Foundation.
