Outpatient Psychiatry

If you need medication to manage your mental illness, we can help. MaineGeneral Medical Center's Outpatient Psychiatry program offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluations with follow up medication management services.

Along with medication management services, we can help coordinate your care with other mental health practitioners.

We provide electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) if a psychiatric evaluation indicates this is an appropriate treatment. For more information on ECT, you may contact our ECT Coordinator at (207) 248-0066. Please note that your medical practitioner or psychiatric provider must make a referral for ECT.

Please call us for information or contact your Primary Care Physician (PCP) to refer you to us.
