Welcome to the Family Medicine Institute (FMI). Our physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses are trained to care for you and your family at all stages of life, from prenatal to geriatrics.
Each patient has a primary care provider who gets to know each of his or her patients individually.
We are also a residency training program for doctors specializing in family medicine. Faculty physicians oversee our resident doctors who train for three years at our Augusta site and at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta and Thayer Center for Health in Waterville.
We are affiliated with Dartmouth Medical School, the University of New England School of Osteopathic Medicine and MaineGeneral Medical Center. We provide a wide range of services which include:
