Calling for appointment or any other questions with this new phone system is ridiculous and not worth it go back to the old ways!

Everyone is always courteous and kind and will listen to any problems that come up.

I think your facility is wonderful and has many, many positive things about it. The one thing that is so hard, and I know I'm not the only one, is answering and picking up the phone. Not only picking up the phone, but speaking to the patient or person who is calling. Introduce yourself, say where we are calling to verify, and then have an interest in what the patient or person is calling for. I had a very bad experience. I love the doctors that I have gone and the other office people I think are very, very nice.

Yusuf Abdi is very thorough and supportive of my health issues. He's knowledgeable and friendly.

Everything went great. The specific health issues I'm dealing with are a little bit out of the wheelhouse of a general practitioner. But, that's probably to be expected. I will be seeing some specialists soon I hope. The only thing I wish could be improved, is how long it takes to schedule an appointment. I waited nearly 3 months to have this appointment. I wanted to start addressing my medical issues much sooner. Dr. Abdi is great. I appreciate him very much.

Yes, I'm just leaving this. Everything was excellent at my appointment, but the only thing that I did notice, and it usually does happen, is if I leave with a prescription, it's never really clear if it was ordered or not. And this last time, I was supposed to get prescribed some cream for my face or something, and it was unclear if Yusuf was just going to go grab it, or I was supposed to pick it up. But I had a couple of prescriptions that Yousuf called in, and he hasn't, or I haven't heard from CVS. So this is probably a mix between a review and I should probably call the office.

It's too hard to get an appointment there. I love my primary care person, but this facility does not enable easy appointments at all, and I refuse to go to Express Care.

Dr. Yusuf and team , I thought was extremely helpful and thorough . Would recommend or have them again in a heartbeat.

Yes, the doctor, Yusuf Abdi , was excellent and he's always excellent. He gives you time and everything. The care team seems to be a little overwhelmed along with Autumn, his nurse and all. We're playing phone tag a lot and I'm not able to ask the questions I need as far as like being low in iron and what You know, I told them I needed a blood work before I saw him, blood work, workup and that never happened. And the doctor himself is excellent. I'd give him a 10. I'd give him the four right through the others, but you're talking about the care team. You're not talking about my doctor. My doctor, I'd give a 10. Thank you.

Yusaf was great as was his MA. Check-in/registration is understaffed resulting in long wait time in the office and over the phone. Front end staff were very pleasant and did a good job.

I have always felt like I could tell him anything about my emotional and physical health. He is great! The support staff are wonderful and accommodating. Always professional and genuine.

He listened carefully without judgement to my every concern and reflected his understanding back to me with options and solutions. He processed information with lightening speed in a way that I would describe as genius! But beyond that, he made me feel cared for and understood.

was very impressed with the staff, but I always am. They're always there for me. And this time, I didn't get my regular doctor. And I got a doctor that I was very impressed. He was very helpful. He talked with me, made sure I understood everything he was saying to him. And I greatly appreciate it. And if I have to see him again, no doubt in my mind that I will be very pleased even if it isn't my regular doctor.

My only gripe is with Follow My Health and getting messages to my provider in a timely way. It's also annoying when they tell you to go to My Health but don't indicate the subject to choose when you go there so you have to go through everything on the list. Results is the exception.

This was my first appointment with Yusuf Abdi. I was impressed with how much time he spent with me. After a review and discussion It was decided that I would have blood work done before I left the office He is going to follow up with me tomorrow by a phone conversation. He did an excellent evaluation.

It is almost impossible to get in and schedule an appointment with my own doctor. It's the only problem I have.

My previous PCP's office closed so this was my first visit to Oakland Family Medicine. I was very pleased with Yusuf Abdi. He was very thorough, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed and felt this was probably this best yearly physical exam I've had in a number of years. I'd highly recommend anyone to request Yusuf as their PCP.

Yusuf Abdi called me on a Sunday morning twice to let me know about my test results and that I needed to pick up a new prescription on Monday. I was so impressed with his concern and that he would take the time to call on a Sunday.

Dr. Abdi is great and is very familiar with my medical history and care. The office staff has completely turned over and is marginal at best. I have been turned away from a scheduled appointment in the past few months after driving 2 hrs to get there and showing my scheduled appointment card. I was recently put on hold for almost 15 minutes. Prescriptions have not been called in promptly and have been called in to the wrong pharmacy. Not please at all with the staff and only keeping coming because Dr Abdi is so good

a great visit. I always do. Dr. Yusuf is absolutely top shelf and does everything he possibly can to get what it is that he feels you need. And he does it all the time. Couldn't be any better. I'm very happy.

I felt very comfortable talking to MD, and I felt that he listened to me, and we dialogued a little bit, and we've come up with a plan. I certainly would recommend this gentleman to anybody.

Was contacted day before to cancel due to physician had to attend a meeting with "leadership." Shocked "leadership" would schedule mandatory last minute meeting knowing physician had appointments during said meeting time frame! The prosed solution was to reschedule me 2 weeks later. I strongly encourage "leadership" evaluate their priorities concerning patient customer service.

The doctor was very good with my son considering my son had special needs. Everyone was very patient with him and the doctor was especially good with him!

Mr. Abdi is a wonderful provider, probably the best PCP I've ever had. He is thorough and knowledgeable and has been communicating with my orthopaedic specialist regarding my care. All too often, doctors do not communicate with each other, so the fact that Mr. Abdi is doing this rates him very high on the list of professionals who are doing the job correctly.

Yusef Abdi, PA gave me excellent care, as always. He figured out the cause of my pain and gave me several helpful options to ease it. I am feeling better already.

Office staff was short staffed, making check in and check out times rather long.

This was intended as a follow-up, but due to new issues that developed, Yusuf quickly took action to have additional tests performed there and at Thayer. He then called back in the evening with results, but I missed the call. He again called me when the office opened today and researched similar tests from several years ago for comparison purposes. That was extremely helpful to me and existing concerns. I'm very pleased with his care.
