Virginia Chapin, PA-C

I had 8am appointment, my provider came into the room at 8:50am.

As usual, Virginia is excellent. She listens and offers recommendations based on what I'm comfortable doing and doesn't chastise me when I make poor decisions regarding my health. This was honestly the best experience I've had thus far with MGH OBGYN.

I was very satisfied with my visit. Everyone we dealt with were courteous and helpful.

Doctors and all staff are professional and caring.

I think the doctors here are amazing. However I've had such awful experiences from Maine general as a corporate medical facility. I couldn't reschedule my appointment easily, couldn't pay my copay beforehand, and you don't allow doctors the ability to say how expensive things may be. Healthcare in this country is DISGUSTING and I'm sick of billionaires (like the one that's the CEO of Maine general, I'm sure) taking advantage of patients who NEED medical care but can't afford it. I'm sick of not being able to get the care I need because my insurance refuses to cover it even though coverage went up by $100 a month. So no, I will not recommend Maine general to anyone because it's ethically disgusting how corporations have made a profit off of how unaffordable needed medical care is. Staff, you're doing a great job, even though you can't give your patients the care they need and deserve because we live in such a "flawed" system. And I know the system abuses you too.

Hello, I am very happy with Dr. Virginia, and she is very caring and careful and gentle, and I really appreciate it. My overall opinion of the hospital is that we can't get appointments with many of your specialties, especially neurology, rheumatology, and a number of others. we've had to go elsewhere. And we're very upset that the rehab center has closed and very upset that the gift shop was closed, really enjoyed that gift shop. So that I'm sure it's all cost cutting, but it's very annoying.

Every visit with Virgina is professional and yet fun. I like to joke around and she is a good sport.

With Excellent service although my provider had a hard time doing the procedure but she used her resources to support her and done the procedure perfectly with little discomfort but as a whole she did it with excellent care. Hats off to my provider.

My nurse who brought me a heated blanket without me asking for it, was greatly appreciated. My Dr. was kind and engaging. Sometimes it's the little things that count the most.

I just left with a little more anxiety then I came in with.

Provider was 45 minutes late and unable to answer a basic question regarding my healthcare. Said she would get back to me and still haven't heard anything.

Virginia was very kind and helpful and took the time to explain things to me. She made me feel comfortable and I enjoyed being around her.
