I was able to get a same day appointment for my medical concern. The support staff was friendly and attentive. The provider was attentive, thorough, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I was extremely satisfied with my overall experience.

Everyone is very patient oriented. A wonderful experience again.

This was my first visit with Dr. Vinh Dam and it was an informative visit. He checked my surgical incisions and confirmed that they were doing well. He answered all my questions and I felt very confident about how my recovery was going. Very pleasant, easy to talk to and informative. A+ visit

The provider I saw took time to listen to my concerns. I didn't feel rushed at all. The exam for the issue I went in for was very thorough. He was very specific about what he felt was the appropriate treatment and explained what was going on. He gave me instructions and made sure I understood the issue and treatment suggestions. I was amazed at the amount of time and attention he gave me. I can't say enough good about my visit.

It's really difficult to get through to the office. It'l takes days to get a return reply from the portal or from a nurse.

I have been a patient at OFHC since 1992. I have always been satisfied with the care team. Because of the health care crisis in Maine and doctor shortage I have on 3 recent occasions been unable to get an appointment in a timely manner and have had to go to Urgent care and once to the Emergency Room at Thayer. I realize this s not the fault of OFHC but it is not an ideal situation. OFHC has followed up with me after these visits.

I've had Vinh Dam a few times now. He always knows my history and appears to remember from previous times. He lets me talk then is thorough with his questions as well his exam. He discussed my diagnosis and efficiently gave me instructions, sent prescription to pharmacy, and asked for any other questions to which he listened and answered all to my satisfaction. I highly recommend him and will personally use him whenever the need arises as he is well educated, articulate, thorough, kind, and personable. I cannot say enough good things about him.

The person I saw was very nice and seemed very concerned about my feelings and what was wrong with me. He did a good job.

the np that i saw was great he listen to what was bothering me and we are doing what we can to find out what is going on. the Np who i saw did make sure i got some testing done asap and he is great. I would go see him he listen to every detail i had to say and then we worked together and put some actions into play.

First time meeting Vinh Dam and he was very thorough and attentive to my needs. He was interested in previous treatments. He checked my newest medications and adjusted treatment so not to have any adverse interactions I'm very happy with the care I received and a very short wait to be seen.

You could do much better if you actually practiced primary care, not sending people to express care or the emergency room when a doctor's visit is needed. It used to be within 48 hours of a hospitalization you saw a patient and it was well over a week. I think that's really poor. Thank you.

I love Oakland Family Medical but wish they had more physicians on staff. They always treat my family and myself extremely well. I have been a patient for over 15 years.

Well, this doesn't have anything to do with the office visit, but it's been two days now and I still haven't heard from the people who are supposed to have scheduled me for ultrasound. So I am still sitting by the phone waiting, kind of. Thank you, bye.

I was able to get an OV same day for14:40 appt., even though I was calling at 13:00. Reception gathered all my info as I was a new patient. MA had my record that had been transferred to the system from the Northern Light office. We updated & confirmed my medications. Vinh Dam was thorough in the exam of my issue, as well explaining how we would address it & he sent the Rx to the pharmacy. A folllow-up appt. was made with my PCP. I felt genuine care and concern.

He paid attention. He listened to me. He understood what I was saying about my meds and refilled them immediately. I'm really glad that you guys have him.

Well obviously the place needs more doctors but that's a problem everywhere in Maine.

But this young man was, number one, very knowledgeable, listened, and explained the procedures, and I would recommend that young man to anybody. I enjoyed him immensely.

This was the first time l met with this doctor and l found him to be knowledgeable, helpful, professional and considerate. We discussed that l have been trying to get treatment for my hand for quite some time since my PCP put in the request.

This call was very insightful and learned a lot while getting my questions answered. Has not been the case with my PCP of whom never returns my calls, have had pain in my stomach for two years with no action by my PCP, and ended going to the ER two weeks ago with pain in the stomach only to be told after tests that I had Kidney Stones. I called for results from X-Rays last month and never received a call back from my PCP. Today's visit with Vieh took the time to explain my X-ray results and were posted to my portal that doesn't work, and I have told my Pcp that in the past.

I love Dr. Dam. He was so cheerful, pleasant and helpful.

I had an appointment at my PCP's office within 2 days after I called for a follow up from my ER visit. I was a little nervous that I wouldn't be seeing my own PCP. Vinh Dam eas fantastic. He was calm, caring, thorough and explained everything.

It was a great visit this time, I seen Vinh alot. Mostly because I can't get an appointment with my PC, who is my third, and I have yet to meet her, even though I have come to the office. Everyone is super nice and professional, I get your understaffed, but while not elderly, I do have some health issues that should be monitored. I'm not really sure what the PC role is supposed to be. I have at least 3 other specialists. It's confusing to me, the whole system.

I was taken right away and treated with care. Saw the Dr and was on my way.

Healthcare is extremely difficult to navigate right now. Oakland Family is right on top of things during a time when there are staffing shortages and increased patient volume due to the closing of Inland Hospital. Always great caregiving at Oakland Family Medicine. The only issue I have is when I get a referral from them that always takes a long time for the specialist to get back to me.

I had had an unexpected health issue that needed immediate attention. They got me in the next morning and Vinh was excellent in listening to my concerns. He scheduled several tests that morning. I felt very confident in his knowledge about what needs to be done at this time.
