Travis R. Chapin, PA-C

The whole appointment went smoothly and everyone was friendly and in good spirits. It was a fantastic visit and my doctor Travis Chapin was on great I was able to work with him to get the best possible care. I am a former Firefighter/Emt so he talks on my level. For me thats what I need

Dr.Travis has gone above and beyond to help me with all of my medical issues.

I have always been very happy with the Maine General at Winthrop Medical Center. I recommend Winthrop Medical Center often to friends and relatives.

What's not my original doctor? Did not feel comfortable but this. Doctor I'm going to reschedule with my doctor. Don't know how to explain this, but I was not that comfortable with him.

Exceptional service by all!

Travis was great in giving me what I needed for my infection and pain. He was understanding of the unusual situation I was in and did not make me feel guilty about using them for a problem that should have been taken care of by my dentist.

Well, it's extremely difficult to get to see my regular doctor. So I get to see an assistant. I'm not very happy with that. And I'm not exactly how they handle my paperwork.

Advertising accepting new patients, and then have a 3-4 month wait for the first visit is a terrible way to gain trust from your patients. Be honest with your advertising

Travis listened to the various things I had tried to manage the pain I was feeling. He asked several pertinent questions and suggested a prescription muscle relaxer that appears to be helping me.

PA Travis Chapin was thorough, caring, and presented a variety of options after receiving my lab results. He explored my medical history before my arrival which allowed for more time on the present. I felt heard and cared for.

I was not scheduled for my practitioner. The provider that I saw told me I should see only my practitioner that was not much help for my condition. The prescription given was contraindicated for me as my neurologist advised me not to take it. I feel it was a waste of my time. The provider did provide a piece of paper that said I should come back and see my practitioner, but that was missed by the staff on my exit. I had to call the next day.

Travis did not have my previous records. However, he was able to address my immediate concerns. I will see him again for a physical after my records arrive in his practice.

I went into my appointment saying if you don't treat both shoulders and neck you are not helping me He only treated my neck He refused to hear me I'm set up for failure with him as my health care provider

Travis Chapin took the time to explain numerous things. He didn't make me feel rushed or like a number. He's very thorough and was a pleasure to talk to.

I had to call yesterday to get in to see a doctor and they accommodated me right away for I was in a lot of pain and I had a wonderful doctor Travis, who is really sympathetic, great bedside manners and a very nice doctor and his associate was there as well and I feel much better today and that's what counts

The only challenging experience was being left alone in between treatments for long periods of time not knowing when someone would be back. Also, had nothing to eat between 10am and 6PM.

Everyone was most helpful, listened and spent ample time with me. From the MA to the PA and reception desk checking in and out!!!

Dr. Chapin was very focused on doing what was most important for this visit and then challenging what was next on the next visit. And he looks through your chart and sees what you need and how it can help you and he gets right on it.
