No follow up call after treatment.

Considering my treatment includes injection into my eye, the process is surprisingly painless due to Dr. Hamzavi's technique. Highly recommend this doctor.

It's difficult to get appointments scheduled. I find that I have to reach out instead of being called to make an appointment and even then it's difficult to get scheduled-otherwise everything was great

Having shots in your eyes is frightening. Its not an event you're looking for Doctor Hamzavi and his staff are so calm, considerate, and all have empathy for what we are going through. I do not look anxiously for the day I'm scheduled but once in the office they make me as comfortable as possible They work well as a team. .

The Doctors at Maine General Health are extremely knowledgeable. I feel really comfortable seeing them for my eye problems. In my experience, they certainly know what they are doing.

After dealing with a different medical practice that appeared to have one method of treatment only, he was like a breath of fresh air.He listened to my concerns and coordinated with me to come up with a workable, satisfactory treatment, I can't say enough good things about him. I will continue to utilize his services and would refer him to others.

Waited 45 minutes. We don't like not being able to schedule next appointment. Having a staff person call a day or 2 later & giving us the next appointment. We would prefer to schedule appointment not be told when next appointment is.

I felt very confident being there at the facility. I think this is my mistake and no one else's. I did not ask what I could do to help my condition and it seems like I have no place to go right now to know what I can do to help my dry macula. I was surprised because I was told it was wet and then I went and found it was dry, but I don't have any a further appointment. I don't have any information to go on what I should be doing now. And I think that's my problem for not asking, but I would love to know that answer. Thank you.

I was very disappointed and somewhat alarmed that I was refused being given any information about my visit. I was only given a card and told to call a phone number. I have always received some information about my visit, documentation, which I would turn over to my doctor because I don't live in this state. So I don't think there's any good reason not to give in. And I insisted, and I still didn't get anything. So if this is a new policy, I don't think it's very good. I will have to go to the trouble of calling and asking for information without even a way to know how to reference my visit. Thank you. Goodbye.

This visit was a referral for a potentially life changing problem and I was scheduled the next day. I had to have a laser procedure unexpectedly at the visit. I was 100% impressed with how quickly I was scheduled ALL the support staff and especially Dr Hamvazi. I am so thankful to have such a skilled specialist available in our community!!

They didn't tell me they would be dilating my eyes, and I had to go back in and ask for glasses. I had to drive myself an hr 1/2 home. Also I'm pretty sure I need glasses but that info wasn't shared with me.

Everything went very well. I was seen pretty much at the time of my appointment. I barely waited before being called in for my appointment. The technician was extremely pleasant and explained everything to me as did Dr. Hamzavi. Dr Hamzavi made me feel relax and comfortable just before doing a laser procedure. I've been with Dr. Hamzavi for a lot of years. He's taken very good care of me and saving my eye. He's so wonderful and he cares about lots of people. The Physician was excellent! Front desk could use some help. Way too many signs for a practice that specializes in eyesight. A little decor in the waiting room and cartoons on the TV??????? The percentage of adults versus children in a retina Practice, they could put on something else besides cartoons.
