Everybody was wonderful, helpful, happy, very, very good experience.

At the reception desk, have your folks think of the age of patients and likely hearing issues. Partially opening a sliding glass barrier and immediately turning your attention to the keyboard and screen evidences disconnection. I know it is part of the generational thing, but you can do better and guys like me won't have reasons to comment to our social network.

Shawn McGlew was just fantastic. Such a super guy and was really good with helping me through my office visit, exam and next steps. I was very pleased with my whole urology visit.

Shawn is good with his patients, he has great bed side manners that are needed for his job & knowlege to provide the care they need. His staff was very nice & made sure everything was going smoothly for this visit. Keep up the fine work!!!

Well, I was there before my appointment was due. My appointment was due at 1 o'clock. And it wasn't until after 1 o'clock until I got in the room. The nurse in there asked me a few questions about my health and everything and my medication. And then she left the room and I was still in there for a while. And by that time, it was like 1:30, quarter or two. And I'm not there to warm a seat. My appointment's for 1 o'clock. I want it for 1 o'clock.

Was a great patient experiance through out the whole office visit.

My visit was very well, I was very well taken care of yesterday by the nurse and also by Sean. I was very comfortable telling him all my concerns and my worries and he helped me go in the right direction for myself as far as further tests and so on. I felt very well taken care of by the whole entire staff and I thank you for a good visit. Thank you.

Dr is great but his staff didn't book the appropriate care that I thought I was showing up for after 7 months. Definitely room for improvement in the office.

It was a long five month wait for the appointment.

Terrible double booking

Shawn McGlew was a delight to speak with and has been incredibly awesome to have able a care provider. I have always had a great time speaking with him and definitely felt heard and understood my concerns and reason for the initial visit.

I have been in Shawn McGlew let's care for years and, ad busy as the Urology Department is, I never feel like I'm being rushed. He's friendly, knowledgeable and professional, as is every person with whom I come into contact on my visits.

I would recommend the practice, but not the facility. The handicap parking lot doesn't have curb ramps to the main entry, so I have to walk farther, stepping up and over at least two curbs while being careful. The wait time for the lab is long. The building is in disrepair. I'm just thankful we have an office building with an ER still in Waterville.

Totally trust Shawn.

Getting a prescription renewal seemed way more difficult than it should be. Long wait for resolution, when time was of the essence.

He wasn't too concerned about my health to begin with. I've got a lower abnormal pain. It's about a four or a five. And I would have liked to have him give me a urine test and a blood test, but he didn't want to. So in my respect, he's no good. Thank you.

Shawn McGlew and his team are professional, courteous, and they make you feel at ease. They are extremely thorough, answer all your questions and review your medical records with you. I had an issue with my new prescription, I called Shawn's office and his staff solved my concerns, got back in touch with the pharmacy, plus called me to say a new prescription was ready for me to pick up. Priceless.

Great appointment

Shawn McGlew has been treating me for a while now and I feel confident with his abilities and medical knowledge regarding my health. He explains everything very well to me and always includes me in the decision making for my treatment. I also would like to mention the check-in person in the window when I first arrived. I did not get her name but she was very congenial and thorough. She made me feel welcome when I arrived for my check-in.

Dr. Sean, as far as names I saw, was a real great guy. Explained a lot of stuff and very professional. I highly recommend him and I'll be seeing him in the future. He's a good guy. Staff team is great.

Sean is very knowledgeable with what he does for a living in his profession and how he presents to you explaining the problem that you have and how they're going to fix it. It is very much in layman's terms that you can understand.

I waited an hour after my appointment time before I saw Shawn. I am supposed to have a cat scan scheduled and I still have not gotten a call 4 business days after my appointment.

The staff in the front, they were super nice and helpful. And then Dr. Shawn, I don't know what was last name, he was really wonderful, very thorough, took time to listen to me and try to be as thorough as he could to find the issue. And just very, very, very nice and helpful. And I had a wonderful experience.

I tried to make an appointment but they said THEY would call ME. Then, the morning before my visit they had a cancellation. The caller was under the impression that I already HAD an appointment but could not see WHEN that was. I took the open slot with dubious conviction

I saw Shawn McGlew yesterday. As usual he did a fine job of giving me sensible, professional advice.

I've been seeing Shawn for a couple years now and he always takes the time to explain things to me and also take the time to listen to any concerns I have.

when I came to my appointment i was on the wrong day and they said that the schedule was full. I went down and the elevator and came back to a different receptionist to ask if they could schedule a earlier date than the one I schedule for. She checked the schedule and there was a cancellation that day a hour latter. If I had not come back to asked I would have missed my opportunity that day. If someone makes a mistake I think they should always check the schedule for a cancellation or a earlier date. Not a big issue but I had travelled a good distance for the appointment so having not to come back was a big deal for me. I thanked the person for doing the extra to help me out. I liked the other location a lot more. I feel like a number at the new location. I like the doctors and PA.

Terrible signage in the building finding the urology department

I was treated with dignity and respect. Shawn was very knowledgeable of my history. He listened to my concerns and thoughtfully treated me accordingly. My only complaint was not with Urology, but with Maine General. The layout of the hospital is convoluted. The back is the front and the front is the back. It is not well thought out with regards to handicapped parking and general access.

The only thing I didn't like was i waited an 45 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Nurse and Dr both apologized for the wait. Every one was nice and very attentive once in was I in a room. The location was easy to find with the signage.

Waited in the exam room for just shy of an hour without being seen. Had a 9am appointment and the provider did not come in the room until 10am. I work in Healthcare and understand things happen, but an hour waiting in an exam room without even someone poking their head in to say that the provider is running behind is unacceptable. That being said the provider was very personable and did apologize for running behind.

Sat in a dark room because the lights wouldn't stay on in the room water kept turning on and off. I totally dislike the new facility so would I recommend anybody to go there no, it's a horrible set up.

Good visit i was nervous seeing a male urologist however he was very good at making me feel at ease. All was fine.

And I think he's very competent, answered all my questions, examined the parts I wanted examined, and gave me encouraging advice. The hospital could use better signs to get you to the urology office, the young lady at the help desk actually walked me all the way to the office , she knows how to treat a patient, very nice personality ?
