This office is very efficient, caring, and so responsive to patient concerns. I am totally impressed with every staff member every visit I have there.

Just a visit to check allergy and a blood test

The dr was incredibly knowledgeable about my condition and the reasons for the issues that have been ongoing! He was really helpful at explaining why the issues happen and how to solve the problem. I'm grateful for his knowledge kindness and compassion for my health concerns. The lab techs were amazing as well! I was shocked that they were able to get the work done without having a special team come in! GRATEFUL FOR THE SERVICE I RECEIVED!

Had to drive over an hour to get to the appointment, showed up 45 minutes early, because there was less summer traffic than I expected. Figured I would check in since it was my first time going to this particular place. Got sent away because I was too early. Came back now 15 minutes before my scheduled time and the same receptionist acknowledged me but went to the cafeteria/away. 15 minutes go by (now to my scheduled time) nothing.. another 15 minutes goes by nothing..

Dr. Dyer and the staff were professional, reviewed my information and explained what they were going to do. Dr. Dyer answered my questions and once he diagnosed me fully explained it and supplied me with information for the treatment of my condition. Thankfully my issues will be able to be controlled and help with the medication.

My appointment was a computer one and went absolutely great!

check in staff was great, however check out left me feeling as if I was bothering her by having to check out. perhaps she was having a bad day that resulted in a poor first impression

The conversation felt very limited, I felt like I had to rush to think about my answers and they didn't seem to know anything about my other health history and there wasn't a clear plan going forward until I get a test completed that can't be done for two more months. Feels like the appointment was a waste of time

Yes, overall everything was great, but I think when you check out, you should be given a summary of what had happened and what is they are recommending, especially since I go through the VA, I don't have anything to follow up with, and that would have been helpful for me with my primary care. Thank you.

Dr. Dyer and his staff were excellent. I was treated with such kindness, professionalism and knowledgeable care. It was a remarkable appointment where I learned so much from Dr. Dyer, he took such time to teach me. And the care he gave me and scheduled me for is going to really impact my life moving forward.

Each professional I encountered was welcoming, thorough and communicated testing needs, diagnosis and treatment with the utmost of clarity.

It seems difficult to get in to see an actual doctor at mainegeneral. If you don't want to wait months and months to be seen, you are offered a telehealth appointment by non-doctors. While that can be useful in some situations, it has not been my finding for my ongoing health needs. I learned more from my one appointment with the actual doctor in the Allergy department than my months of appointments via telehealth with the FNP. This carries on through other departments as well, such as gastroenterology, only being able to see a PA. That is my least favorite department in mainegeneral due to their treatment of the patient, whether via onsite visits with the PA or calling in with serious health matters. Things just don't get addressed in the GI department. On the other hand, I was so pleased to be able to see Dr. Dyer, and I received invaluable, helpful, and insightful information from him.

The receptionist is rude

Dr Dyer has been the pivot point for coordinating my multiple concerns with allergies, asthma, and reflux. Over the many years I have been seeing him, he has gotten me into speech therapy for VCD and GI for reflux, ultimately leading to my hernia repair. He always thinks outside the box of just "allergies and asthma" and has been essential in my coordination of care.

The doctor was dismissive and rude. He didn't take into consideration my concerns and it felt like he didn't tell me w out the tests that he was running. He not only commented on my weight but also repeatedly made me feel like what I was experiencing was in my head. The tests he did run weren't the correct ones for my concerns and would not have shown results and I told him so, but he ran them anyway without specifying which they were.

I received several text reminders for my appointment ahead of time, which was helpful. The office was easy to find. My appointment was efficient and I did not have to wait long in the waiting room. Dr. Dyer is very knowledgeable and a leading professional. He was able to discern and explain things regarding my issues that other providers were unable to provide answers for. Though I wasn't able to get the bloodwork he ordered that day because the lab next door was crowded, I would still highly recommend him for anyone needing help to understand their allergies.

Communication was good between Doctor and patient.

The staff was great, and my appointment was early!

First, the scheduler got me in on a cancellation as she knew how miserable I was and needed care. She got me in within a couple days and I am so grateful. Dr Dyer was the kindest person! I felt like he was the first medical professional in a while to see and hear me and validate my struggles. While my main reason for going he might not be able to resolve he sent me in the direction to get tested for MRSA and I am waiting for the swabs to come back. No one else from urgent care or pcp office practitioners thought of it. I feel it is a major issue causing my constant skin flares and for that I cannot tell you how scary and helpful it was to hear. Even if it is not that I have renewed hope to get to the bottom of it. I will continue to work with Dr Dyer to see if there are underlying allergies but this doc is an 11 out of 10.

Excellent service from everyone there

Absolutely awful

Dr Scott after is amazing. From the moment he walked into the room I could tell he was going to be phenomenal. I had gone to the clinic in Portland and that was a horrific experience. Two friends had wonderful things to say about Dr. Dyer so I was able to get another referral and get into see him. He was amazing. A definite asset to the facility.

Dr. Dyer has been very easy to work with throughout my immunotherapy program. I do recommend him to other people

I got two to three different confirmation texts regarding this appointment. And it was very confusing. And I also got a call to confirm the appointment. It was very confusing why I got so many confirmations. And sometimes the texting service didn't work right. Like I tried to text that I was going to the appointment, but then it didn't send it. And then it sent me a text that said, Let us know if you want to be subscribed still. And I didn't know if I had my appointment, so I had to call to make sure I still had my appointment, even though I had already confirmed my appointment three plus times. The staff, though, were really nice. And this questionnaire being a few questions is a lie, because that would be less than five questions. So I would recommend changing your wording, because that's really annoying and really annoyed me and didn't make me want to be nice about the survey. Have a good day, though.

An excellent, excellent allergy center, excellent appointment scheduling, excellent doctors and nurses. Dr. Dyer is an excellent, excellent allergenist. I've received much help over the years from him and the team. Thank you so much.

Did not do what I asked for I needed a poke allergy test and they did a blood, and it doesn't show up in blood only shows up on skin also does not want to continue I would love to know what I am allergic to so I can avoid it

Dr Dyer seems to really care about his patients and is interested in what they also have to say also. He doesn't brush you of like some Dr's. do.
