As someone who usually goes to the Urgent Care in Augusta I was happily surprised to be treated with such care for once at the Waterville Urgent Care. I was given thorough answers and advice to all my questions. I will likely make the extra trek again next time I need medical assistance.

A very positive experience

This is the second time in six months that I've had to go to the main general emergency room in Augusta the first time I had a bleed out through my nose, where I was left waiting in the waiting room for 6 1/2 hours bleeding out my nose and I'm not exaggerating. I have witnesses to what happened this past weekend. I was back in the emergency room for a very bad migraine headache with grey vision and dizziness, as well as lower back pain and kidney issues, etc. the only thing that was addressed was the kidney UTI that they found that I had kudos for them while I was in the waiting room. I asked my husband to get me some Tylenol. He went and asked a nurse if I could have some Tylenol. He went to the cafeteria to get something to eat. He's diabetic and being there for 4 1/2 hours at this point he needed to get something in to his system while he was gone. A nurse came out with ibuprofen number one in my charts and as told to the triage nurse or whoever it is when you come in the door and she takes your blood pressure and vitals and yada yada was very explicit in that I cannot have NSAIDs orally. The nurse went back to wherever she came from and never returned with Tylenol. I was there that day for 10 1/2 hours this hospital should be shut down.

I appreciated the time that the provider spent with me determining the cause of my problem and fixing it right there in the office. When I go to the doctor I wnat magic but usually just get medicine. That day, I got the magic. I'm grateful.

Staff were courteous kind attentive

I was told that if my symptoms did not clear up within 1-2 days that I should call the Maine General Express care. The day after I called saying that my symptoms were not better and they felt worse. I was expecting to be told that I would be prescribed the medication that would help me feel better. Instead the nurse told me that I should go to the emergency room. She also told me that I could go back to the express care, but I would most likely be told to go to the emergency room. I feel like I was given the wrong information. I did end up going to the emergency room that evening and I spent almost 7 hours waiting to hear what was wrong. And in the end I was prescribed the two medications that I needed to help me feel better. I was not happy that I had to wait around for almost 7 hours to get the help that I needed. I feel like I could have been prescribed the medication that I needed while I was at the express care the day before.

Yes, our experience was great from check-in to exit. Samantha was awesome with my child, very kind, very friendly. Made her feel very safe. Thank you.

The check-in staff...friendly, efficient and professional, then the medical assistant was extremely polite, friendly and professional, then the P.A.? N.P.? ( I can't remember her title) Was also all of the above! Needless to say I was impressed and grateful for their time and attention.

The care I received was excellent, and I am very grateful for the tests they performed. I don't know when I will be able to return for further tests.

Hi, I just want to say that the whole staff there treated me very nicely. They explained what was wrong with me and I had kind of a bizarre situation. Didn't faze them in the least. They were kind. They were knowledgeable. They were quick. I can't say enough good about them. So bravo, bravo, bravo.

I had an excellent experience at this express care. The doctor, Samantha Smith, did not rush the visit at all-she took a lot of time to listen carefully to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions, and was extremely thorough in her evaluation. I felt genuinely heard and respected. She explained everything clearly and developed a well-thought-out care plan that addressed my needs. This was far beyond what I expected from an express care visit, and I truly appreciate the level of attention and professionalism. Highly recommend.

Samantha went above and beyond during my visit. She answered all my questions and provided information for future health care. She showed genuine concern with my dental issues and eased my humiliation with professionalism and kindness. She's a gem!

Yes, I found them, I was surprising, very much surprised that they were so quick. They were efficient. They were very tentative. I was impressed. The doctor, I don't know her name, it was a young lady, very good. The receptionist, I'd give her a 10 all day. I'd like to talk a little bit and I was a little nervous because, you know, I had a feeling this was an infected tick and it turned out it was. I was very happy with the doctor, very happy with the staff there. I would definitely recommend them. I was really surprised. I didn't expect that quick of a response.

I dont know if she thought I was deaf or that the entire working staff needed to know that I was coming in to get tested for an STD oh wait my bad an STI, she corrected me quite sternly!

My experience was excellent and I would recommend it to family and friends. The Express Care is what it's, the name is perfect. So overall I gave a 10 for I was impressed with the service and everybody really being nice and cordial. So if I ever need to have any more care, I will definitely go there. Thank you. Bye.

Another amazing experience!

Really appreciate the PAs expertise. I was sure I knew what was going on, the provider stuck to her different hypothesis and the results confirmed she was correct. She followed up with me consistently as results came in. Even though I am seeing a specialist this follow up allowed me to get faster treatment, bc I could relay those results. Thank you again for your care and consideration.

The person listed on my encounter sheet was not the person who treated me. I thought I had scraped my foot but now think it was a spider bite. I suspect a PA or doctor may have been able to diagnose the difference.

The PA (Samantha) was great. She did an excellent job stitching my cut hand and had a great bedside manner. She was a valuable addition to your team.
