Everyone that I interacted with was capable and kind. I have had great care whenever I have brought my children or myself to this location. Maine General is fabulous!

I am very impressed by how fast you can get the patients in and how many patients you get in a day. And the service was excellent. I got better and I would definitely recommend it to family members and friends. Thank you.

My provider listened to me and was able to come to a quick diagnosis. She was very intelligent and prescribed me a topical medication. Treatment so far has been a success! The providers here know exactly what they are doing. Wished I hadn't waited so long to come in and be seen. Outstanding staff!

Forever grateful for the staff that day as I was struggling to breathe. The entire staff was very respectful and got me on the right track. Great place, great people and would definitely return if needed!

I would like to say that the care and customer service at the Express Care is extremely excellent and I always take my sister who I'm guardian there for. And I thought at one point though they had x-rays on weekends there, but way back when, but I guess they don't now, so that was a surprise. But it was a wonderful experience and thank you very much for your service. Bye.

Samantha Smith was absolutely awful! After I explained that I am suffering daily with feet pain that's increasing and spreading through my legs/knees- she openly admitted that she was not knowledgeable in regard to feet pain. Her only recommendation was to roll a water bottle on my feet- and trying to pass my concerns off to any other health care department possible- even suggested a podiatrists but made no effort in a referral. Every idea that came to her mind was "overkill" such as- plantar fasciitis or gout. Instead of asking a co-worker, or trying to make any attempt into creating a plan in managing my concerns she was extremely dismissive and seeming lazy. She most definitely does NOT care about Maine General patients and it seemed as though she had just entered the field of work (fresh out of schooling) due to her lack of knowledge or ability to even act like she cared. For perspective- I almost never seek medical attention- and have even suffered through this pain for 2 months to finally coerce myself to be seen only to be met with such a disappointing appointment and horrible medical staff.

Did have a follow up visit as symptoms worsened. I was given prescription for infection based on drainage from large blister like bubbles of fluid and continued news raised white bumps, increased redness and itching. Swelling gone down and no more new bumps. Increased redness and swelling around yellow jacket sting spot. Today I read that stinger may still be inside, sure enough used credit card edge to scrape area and stinger came out. Now that area should improve. I expect the antibiotics will completely heal both areas.

I like going to express care. There is not a long wait and everyone from receptionist to the person taking vitals to the pcp are helpful, courteous, professional, patient and take the time to explain.

I felt like the PA was in a big hurry to see me and get out. Same during my follow up phone call questioning my X-ray report. I have had a history of poor analysis with MGMC X-rays. "No fracture " when there was one. "One small fracture right here" when all five metatarsals were broken. "Normal" X-ray when I had an avulsion fracture spotted by a PA in 2022.

It was very professional in all phases. I was particularly impressed with Samantha's care and going the extra mile to insure that I had every opportunity to determine that I had the necessary examination , X-rays to identify my discomfort. She called me on the drive home to inform me what was found and to tell me that the medications were ordered. Outstanding, thank you.

When I got to the care center there was 4 people ahead of me. I had anticipated the wait to be long before I was see, this was not the case. I no sooner went to the waiting room, then I was called. I was in and out just like express care should be. All staff was kind and trustworthy. This was very positive as I really thought I was going to wait hours. Thank you for the good experience.

The reception staff was very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. The nurses, nurse providers, the people who treated me were very knowledgeable, were very helpful and I had a particular problem with a special bandage. They helped me out. I had some pain behind my ear and they helped me out very well. So I commend all of them. I give them all high ranks, high marks. Thank you.

Very quick and thorough. Looked at my past records to make decisions about my care. Really liked Samantha Smith. Took muscle relaxer she prescribed 2 nights and finally got some sleep and relief. Feeling much better. Thanks!

The whole experience was considering I was embarrassed and disgusted, they made me feel completely at ease. It was a good experience for a bad issue.

Samantha was thorough, but also took an adequate amount of time. And it was just an overall positive experience.

While I was seen quickly by a nurse, she made me uncomfortable with the way she commented my psychiatric meds ("why are you on two meds for depression) during the med review. After that, I was placed in a room, which I appreciated, but was freezing cold and left in for over an hour, all for an admittedly helpful interaction with the PA, who looked at my throat and ears and sent me on my way.

I thought Samantha was absolutely incredible. She listened to me. She took great care of me. She explained everything to me and she went beyond, well beyond and above what I had expected. So I'm very, very appreciative of having had her as my care provider. And I highly recommend her. I just think it was a fantastic visit. And thank you so much.

When I got there to check in, there was nobody else in the waiting area and there were two women at the desk and one of them was checking another patient out. But rather than go ahead and check me in because I entered the building, the woman that wasn't doing anything decided it was more important to place Gravel. So probably not a good choice.

As someone who usually goes to the Urgent Care in Augusta I was happily surprised to be treated with such care for once at the Waterville Urgent Care. I was given thorough answers and advice to all my questions. I will likely make the extra trek again next time I need medical assistance.

A very positive experience

This is the second time in six months that I've had to go to the main general emergency room in Augusta the first time I had a bleed out through my nose, where I was left waiting in the waiting room for 6 1/2 hours bleeding out my nose and I'm not exaggerating. I have witnesses to what happened this past weekend. I was back in the emergency room for a very bad migraine headache with grey vision and dizziness, as well as lower back pain and kidney issues, etc. the only thing that was addressed was the kidney UTI that they found that I had kudos for them while I was in the waiting room. I asked my husband to get me some Tylenol. He went and asked a nurse if I could have some Tylenol. He went to the cafeteria to get something to eat. He's diabetic and being there for 4 1/2 hours at this point he needed to get something in to his system while he was gone. A nurse came out with ibuprofen number one in my charts and as told to the triage nurse or whoever it is when you come in the door and she takes your blood pressure and vitals and yada yada was very explicit in that I cannot have NSAIDs orally. The nurse went back to wherever she came from and never returned with Tylenol. I was there that day for 10 1/2 hours this hospital should be shut down.

I appreciated the time that the provider spent with me determining the cause of my problem and fixing it right there in the office. When I go to the doctor I wnat magic but usually just get medicine. That day, I got the magic. I'm grateful.

Staff were courteous kind attentive

I was told that if my symptoms did not clear up within 1-2 days that I should call the Maine General Express care. The day after I called saying that my symptoms were not better and they felt worse. I was expecting to be told that I would be prescribed the medication that would help me feel better. Instead the nurse told me that I should go to the emergency room. She also told me that I could go back to the express care, but I would most likely be told to go to the emergency room. I feel like I was given the wrong information. I did end up going to the emergency room that evening and I spent almost 7 hours waiting to hear what was wrong. And in the end I was prescribed the two medications that I needed to help me feel better. I was not happy that I had to wait around for almost 7 hours to get the help that I needed. I feel like I could have been prescribed the medication that I needed while I was at the express care the day before.

Yes, our experience was great from check-in to exit. Samantha was awesome with my child, very kind, very friendly. Made her feel very safe. Thank you.

The check-in staff...friendly, efficient and professional, then the medical assistant was extremely polite, friendly and professional, then the P.A.? N.P.? ( I can't remember her title) Was also all of the above! Needless to say I was impressed and grateful for their time and attention.

The care I received was excellent, and I am very grateful for the tests they performed. I don't know when I will be able to return for further tests.

Hi, I just want to say that the whole staff there treated me very nicely. They explained what was wrong with me and I had kind of a bizarre situation. Didn't faze them in the least. They were kind. They were knowledgeable. They were quick. I can't say enough good about them. So bravo, bravo, bravo.

I had an excellent experience at this express care. The doctor, Samantha Smith, did not rush the visit at all-she took a lot of time to listen carefully to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions, and was extremely thorough in her evaluation. I felt genuinely heard and respected. She explained everything clearly and developed a well-thought-out care plan that addressed my needs. This was far beyond what I expected from an express care visit, and I truly appreciate the level of attention and professionalism. Highly recommend.

Yes, I found them, I was surprising, very much surprised that they were so quick. They were efficient. They were very tentative. I was impressed. The doctor, I don't know her name, it was a young lady, very good. The receptionist, I'd give her a 10 all day. I'd like to talk a little bit and I was a little nervous because, you know, I had a feeling this was an infected tick and it turned out it was. I was very happy with the doctor, very happy with the staff there. I would definitely recommend them. I was really surprised. I didn't expect that quick of a response.

I dont know if she thought I was deaf or that the entire working staff needed to know that I was coming in to get tested for an STD oh wait my bad an STI, she corrected me quite sternly!
