They were all very nice helpful and kind. I fill very blessed to have Dr. Pakraftar as my surgeon.

Everyone was great. The PA that saw me Wednesday was just excellent.

Both doctor and nurse were very pleasant and sensitive to my issues, informative, and professional. Being new to the Maine medical system, I have been impressed with the professionalism, and care given.

Dr Pakraftar was great instead of immediately operating he gave my body and chance to heal with medication. This could mean I would not need to have emergency surgery but rather a procedure in the future that would not be as evasive. I appreciate his thoughts on treating the patient and not the scan because in my case the scan was terrible but I was not presenting with the symptoms that would lead me to emergency surgery. He and his whole team were great to work with yesterday as well as during my hospital stay the week previous. Great people

I was very pleased with the doctor. I could understand him. He spoke English very nicely and I was very pleased with that. He explained that I should go back to my other doctor and then have him make a decision about whether to come back to him for surgery or not. I was a little disappointed that I had had to make that trip down there and then back to the other doctor and then will go back to him. But other than that, I felt he did take the time to explain things. I was very pleased with the fact that he gave me a paper with some instructions on it and he had some suggestions for me. My doctor was there to hear from me and seemed like he cared about my problems. I Had a good visit. Everyone who spoke to me was very helpful and cheerful.

Patient, clear, and thorough

Dr. Pakraftar was truly remarkable. He was patient, respectful, listened carefully, explained the process and options in terms and ways we could understand. He did not rush us. He made us feel as if we were his only patients. Thank you! Regarding the check-in process at the front desk, it was difficult to know where the queue started for the line. People were just kind of standing all around. It may be helpful to have a sign and/or stanchions, so people know where to line up. Regarding being called in by the nurse, it would be helpful if the nurse came out into the lobby to call names, rather than just standing at the double door. The lobby is large, busy and noisy, so it is hard to hear them from the double doors. Thank you for all your do.

The main general facility as a whole, I would not recommend at all, especially the ER department. Sam Pakraftar and his team in the surgery area is fine.

Healthcare for profit should be illegal. I pay my health insurance out of pocket, and still get a50$ copay. Unreal. You all should be ashamed of yourself's.

I thought I was there to actually set date of my procedure and go over questions and information, I wanted to relay about my past experience, next procedure, but I was unable to do that. I Instead I got a consult, asking me why I was there with multiple people in the room I was unprepared for, so I was caught off guard unable to really get all the information I wanted to talk about out. Still I have to wait for a call to schedule while hoping to have it done before the new year, new deductible and higher Insurance premiums which is no fault of yours. But being a former inland patient and on the waiting list for a primary care, I've had a hard time even just getting this set up finally, get this appointment and realize I have to wait again. But all in all I was glad to finally get in and talk to someone or get things rolling.

The doctor was very thorough and explaining my condition very helpful and reassuring that I did not need surgery. Everything should clear up within a month fingers crossed LOL

Seems to take a long time from the time the primary refers you to specialist to get an answer or appointment

Dr. Pakraftar was 15 minutes late and apologized twice, which I really appreciated. He always gives me ample opportunities to ask questions and explains things thoroughly.

Dr. Pakraftar is a wonderful physician. In my several appointments with him, he has always listened to my concerns, explained the various options to address my medical issues, and been patient with my questions.

Dr. Pakraftar was amazing! Throughout the brief exam he conducted, he was very gentle and made a point to tell me ahead of time what he was about to do every step of the way. He also provided a clear description of the problem he diagnosed as well as the treatment plan he proposed. Lastly, he projected genuine concern to make sure I had an opportunity to get answers to any questions I had. I wish all medical professionals I encounter were like Dr. Pakraftar.

I had an emergency referral from my pcp, a doctor in your facility, and had to wait more than 7 months --in pain-- for an appointment. The care team asked for an appt in 2 months to be seen as a follow up and the desk was unwilling to make an appt, saying they would call me to make it. The triage and appt process is absurd. This appt was needed because of injury caused during a colonoscopy that I had to wait 13 months for. 10 months between the first call to set up an appt and 3 more to before the appt date. You are advertising the surgery center in TV and your own patients cannot get in to see a doctor!

Things were done in a timely way to make sure my health was up to it. Necessary test were expedited to not prolong the surgery. I was especially pleased. The staff is great

I would just like to comment that the staff at the hospital, whether they were receptionists or nurses or doctors, were very, very welcoming and friendly and were really nice to deal with on a daily basis. And it really changed how I felt about my treatment. Thank you.

You know, I was first diagnosed with colon cancer. My daughter, who had worked with Pakraftar for 15 years as a nurse, she asked me who my doctor was, and I told her it was Sam Pakraftar, and she said, you've got the best person in just about the country that's going to take care of you. I'm so glad that he was around, and his girls that work around him are angels. So I'm so glad that everything's all over now and everything came out good. So thank you so much for Sam Pakraftar.
