Dr. Majithia is excellent in working with me on managing my medication with my current blood levels and my symptoms.

Communication was clear, concise and thorough. Liked how Dr. Drogos and Dr. Majithia worked together the best approach my care.

Staff really friendly & helpful. Both doctors knew my husband's health problems. It was nice not to go back & explain his problems. Really great doctors.

The receptionist was wonderful. The lab work, the gentleman, he was great. And then the nurse and the doctor, they were all wonderful. The only suggestion I would have is I couldn't find the bell to ring it. Thank you.

Emily registration is a darling her her smile warms my heart. Courtny is always interested in me as a person. Dr. Majithia also is interested in my social life journeys just makes me feel that I am a person and not just a cancer number.

Very friendly people

I'm 55 and scared. They were all so calming and friendly. I was crying and one of the nice front check in ladies gave me a little heart to hold.

I'm very impressed that Dr. Majithia actually took the time to listen to my concerns. He appeared to care and wasn't rushing to leave so fast. Usually my appointments with him last 10 minutes, but this time it was 30 minutes. The only issue I have is that nobody calls to talk about my blood work, especially the ones in RED. When I leave the facility I get my results within half an hour and I'm told they would be in the next day. Either way I should be contacted about my results instead of worrying about the ones in RED. Other than that I am pleased with everything else.

I would like to say that you all work so hard and you are so pleasant and so good to everyone. And I really want to thank you for that. And if you can take it to management, there's one more thing I would like to say. The employees should not have to walk a mile to get to their vehicle up back. And I think you should change that. You've got to have some respect for your employees. And people getting off at night, the world isn't what it used to be, and you need to fix that and make sure your employees get safely to and from their vehicles. And other than that, I thank you so very much for everything.

From the front desk, check in to the visit with the doctor it was very comfortable and informative. The lab tech was wonderful, as I didn't even feel the blood draw. The nurse was familiar, which I liked, and the doctor shared my results and recommended treatment. I have always had a good experience at the HACC.

How fortunate are we as Mainers to have the Alfond family, who provided much of the funding, for the beautiful facility that attracts wonderful doctors to our area and who provide all of us with the necessary care & compassion.

Appointment w MA was on hour. Did not see her til 20 minutes past hour. Dr was very patient , compassionate, understanding and very good educator.

I have been a patient at the Alfond Cancer Center for six months ,so my survey is my six month experience. First registration,since day one,all have been polite,friendly and experienced. In a stressful time in my life,I'm most appreciative with the care and understanding they put forward. Next when you arrive down to the terrace, you're greeted by Jamie. He's very cordial and he has a calm demeanor that he portrays with confidence. His making sure those who walk from the elevator that he's ready to direct them to the proper place to wait for their procedure. Next, I've probably had all of the lab personnel draw from me. Simply put, professional and skilled people. Now the nurses that prepare me with my vitals and all the questions about my present health and everything that my Dr. would want to know. Again very professional ,every one of them are totally proficient. Now Dr. Neil Majithia, l cannot say enough about this man. I was not an easy patient when we met. I was scared, confused and defiant about my chances to live a quality life with this diagnosis. He was very intense listening to me and understanding. Now here I am six plus months later. I don't know if I could have ever make the progress that I've made,without his confidence in me and his guidance on my ability to make it to where I am today. I owe him for how far I've come with him at my side. I feel fortunate that I have the opportunity to be treated at the Alfond Cancer Center. I do and will always recommend to others that have this unfortunate illness,that they should consider and convince their doctor and family members, that they should go to the Alfond Cancer Center.

All staff, very professional, very friendly. Always a pleasure to be there as far as the personnel and the people. Otherwise, well, sometimes you'd rather not be there. But anyway, it was a good visit. Good people. Thank you very much.

Very organized facility, very little wait time and all staff friendly and knowledgeable. Very happy with care.

The staff, receptionists and staff were all very helpful. I feel the doctor could have been a little bit more open and explicit. He had some results from my lab work, but he didn't go over them with me. I had to ask them afterwards. So he didn't spend much time. I think he could have spent another 10 or 15 minutes talking to me about my situation and asking questions. So I wasn't real happy with the results I got there. Okay, thank you.

I don't know how anyone there could do anything better. I'm so very happy with the care and service. The personnel is always upbeat. When they ask you if they can get you something, they mean it. Both my husband and I felt that the doctor cared more about me not having insurance and how I was going to pay for treatments than me as a person.

This visit was the first. I have been diagnosed with cancer and all the heath care providers I meet seemed very knowledgeable and professional and I feel like I will be in good hands going forward with my treatments.

The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and very prompt with treatment. The Dr. was informative and assured me hevwouldn't need to see me for another year.

Quick and efficient

Dr. Majithia wasn't there. I had a nurse practitioner who tried to be helpful but didn't follow up with additional information as requested. My nurse navigator has failed to respond to my last two requests for information critical to my care.

That staff was very helpful and courteous.

Dr. Majithia does a great job managing my cancer. The nursing staff and nurse practitioners do a wonderful job taking care of me.

I seem to have gotten lost in the system. I waited 45 minutes after the lab draw before I was called in to see the Dr. I had to go to the person sitting behind the desk in the waiting room and ask him to check on my status. He called someone and the assistant came right out to get me?

Every time I go to see my doctor he never has the results of my blood work. I'm left guessing whether or not I need appointments for iron infusions. There are times when I don't even get a call to give me the dates and I just received the dates in the mail. Also there were several times where I had tried to reschedule an appointment and I'm told we're going to move it to next thursday. And it ends up being the same week. It seems a little bit confusing at times.

Everyone always goes out of their way to make us comfortable and well cared for.

They have some great people in the hospital

Everyone was pleasant, engaging, and very easy to interact with.

The building was a little overwhelming, but everyone pointed me in the right direction. Nice changes. The staff is always pleasant. And my doctor is wonderful.

I thought that my oncology care team was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate and in the way that they described what was going to be occurring in the near future. I was extremely pleased.

This was my final oncology annual follow up as I am ten years post cancer treatments. But I still received the same high level of care and attention as I did while undergoing treatment. While I'm hoping I never have to use the services again, I am very thankful for the level of professionalism and care every employee has shown over the past decade.

The Dr. was cavalier about my health condition that has been quite concerning for some time. I went in scared and left feeling worse. I felt like the Dr. was a paycheck collector.

Always a pleasure

I felt like my case was dismissed as not significant enough for further examination. There was no physical examination of my legs, only another referral for another specialist and a filling of a prescription which I am already taking. I am not sure if this was the wrong specialist to see for my condition (recurring superficial blood clots), or of there was just truly nothing they could do to improve my condition besides agreeing with me about remaining on current meds and referring a different specialist. I was left more confused as to what exactly this appointment was supposed to accomplish.

We're pleased to meet everybody, but we don't know anything yet. The testing hasn't been performed that needs to be. It's several weeks out. So we really can't rate you on any quality of care because he hasn't gotten any. And he desperately needs it.

The new facitlity is very nice. Staff was very helpful letting me know where to go. It's always very efficient.

Yes, I was very pleased with the reception that I got.

After getting my blood drawn, and after I asked about the flu shot, I saw Dr. Majithia. His first question to me as he walked through the doors actually his first any words to me were "what are you doing here?". My answer was because I have an appointment. I received a reminder call. And I even called in advance to talk about seeing my pet scan. If I ever need oncology again, it definitely won't be with Dr. Majithia. He has been difficult to get any information out of For quite some time. And now after this meeting, I am stunned at his lack of bedside manner, I guess you'd call it.

I think you folks have done everything very well. I can't think of anything you could do different. Everybody is helpful. They're nothing but nice. They're always friendly. I guess that's it. Hope you have a good day.

Dr Majithia and the team have been awesome in helping me get my health condition under control. I've improved under their care. Dr Majithia is intelligent and I have full trust in him. He is kind and takes interest in you as a person as well.

They did not have VA records from West Roxbury V hospital. Great service and they inspire confidence.

The new lab being downstairs has slowed things down so much...im late for my appt with my dr everytime now...and when I'm in the lab I see all the other techs standing around talking or just standing in their cubicles doing nothing while there's an entire full waiting room. This is the 2nd time I've seen this and it seems its always just one tech repeatedly taking people back while the others dont.

I'm sticking with this center because they are very kind and they are straight up with you!
