This was my first visit and I liked the way Dr Rodger's presented his explanation on my health.

Michael Rodgers is the best knee surgeon, he listens to you and gives you his attention. And explains everything to you so you fully understand. His charge nurse Melissa is an amazing nurse. She goes above and beyond for patients.

We were given an appointment card that had the August address on it but we were seen in Oakland thank God I called to confirm the appointment we would've missed an appointment. We waited nine months for we didn't get any reminder call or text. Thank God I called I would've been out of my mind was fury number two. I wanted to put my husband on the portal and we couldn't figure it out from online, it said you had to do it in person with a photo ID when I got to registration I asked about it and she assured me no you didn't have to do it online that they would just send us an email which they did so whatever is online is completely wrong. Before the visit we had to go to the water facility, we had to register the front desk where they couldn't find him to look at another system. They found him then down to the lab to register again after we waited a long time taking a number the number was only to register, but then we were late for nuclear medicine. No one knew when nuclear medicine was there is not a single sign about nuclear medicine and when we finally got there, we had to register a third time. Your people are great. Your systems are beyond bizarre. The only reason I found nuclear medicine is because I'm a doctor, and I just walked myself through some unlabeled double doors to ask someone fortunately it was radiology in a nice young woman took me down the hall. Your systems are beyond bizarre.

Dr Roger is excellent, he took a chance on me by giving me knee surgery and it is life changing.

They have been wonderful. Dr Rodger's and his Nurse are the best. My hip replacement was a breeze and they explained everything wonderfully.

Every team member I encountered was warm, welcoming and happy! Not one grump in the whole group.......i couldn't help but smile myself.

I would recommend the surgeon 100% but the physician assistants and some nurse staff I would never recommend them to anyone.

I had a long wait before I could see the doctor

Dr Rodger and team provided great follow-up in my 6 month TKR post op visit. He talked me through my recovery progress and expectations and I feel very secure and hopeful for full recovery. MGH has been excellent all the way through this TKR journey.

It's too long of a wait as established patient to schedule follow up appointments. Doctors are booked. I waited 7 weeks to go over bone scan results.

Dr. Rodger is an asset to Maine General Hospital. He is extremely knowledgeable and informative with patients. He goes above and beyond to make sure that you understand your health and medications. Melissa is so knowledgeable and professional, she immediately is able to make a patient relax. That is such a gift!

I had to wait 46 minutes in my room for the doctor to come in to see me,

I had the best team on the globe. Dr.Rodgers replaced both knees 10 weeks apart January and April. The excellence, efficiency, kindness, speed in care for any issue that arose is unmatched in my opinion. They should be teaching the teams in Boston's hospitals. I was a tough case with osteoporosis of knees, hips, back and shoulders to be considered. I had been in wheelchair. I can now dance! I have complete flexion and extension and achieved them at 4 weeks post op because of the skill of this team. Their kindness and compassion is unrivaled in my lifetime.
