My initial ultrasound and OB appointment was just scheduled without a phone call to confirm I was available at the appointment times. I really enjoyed meeting with the midwife. She was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She also included my husband in the office visit and discussion. The medical assistant was a bit abrupt in that she immediately told me at the door that I should sit in a different area of the waiting room (I was sitting right in front of the check in window for the OB office). The lab tech also asked my husband to wait outside of the office for me to have my labs drawn, and I had initially said that I planned to have him come to the lab with me. She did not give him the option to come to the lab, however.

Michelle Tocher exceeded my expectations for this exam. I thought we'd just have a quick conversation about my prescription, but I felt like she gave me a whole wellness exam that covered my mental and physical health. She reviewed my records before we met and asked good questions. Although I was late to the appointment, I did not feel as though the exam was rushed. She gave me plenty of time to talk and ask questions. Michelle also appeared knowledgeable of the (minimal) health risks associated with my prescription and others like it.

My experience at MainGen OBGYN was excellent. I was asked multiple times what else was on my mind about my health. They were very concerned about my holistic well-being and Michelle was excellent at listening to my health concerns and I really appreciate that. I did not feel rushed. She was also very gentle with the hands-on two procedures that I had that day that I was quite nervous about. And she talked me through it, and the assistant was excellent, and I left feeling very well taken care of. And I appreciate all the providers there. Thank you.

I'm always more than satisfied with my care at MaineGeneral, and especially with the midwives. Michelle is always wonderful, she takes my concerns seriously and is very pleasant to be around.

Ultrasound technician falsified documentation. Stated multiple times that teams-vaginal was preformed when procedure was abdominal. No alternative method of ultrasound was offered.

Michelle was wonderful at explaining and providing options for my care. I felt very involved in my care and decision making.

if I could have her as my midwife at my birth I totally would! she was awesome in listening to me, not making me feel crazy for my emotions and hearing me out with everything.

I'm satisfied very much, have been for years as far as recommendations go. I don't recommend medical regardless of who it is, how happy I am. That's just not something I do.

Michelle was awesome, had an excellent first experience here and looking forward to continuing care here for my pregnancy!

I appreciated the thorough conversation. However, it's hard to remember everything, so having it written down and either printed to me or having it written on my portal would be elementally helpful, especially regarding different medicines or when I have to do the finger prick for two weeks and I'm not used to doing that or talking about socks and talking about different companies. So having things written down and not just verbally told to me, especially when it's an insane amount of information, is vital. Thank you.
