Meghan Thornberg, PA-C

I would like to make up what I want to put in my own body. I'm in a lot of pain now with no help. I have been like this for a long time. I just wish that they would listen to me instead of brushing it way like it's nothing.

I am extremely thankful for everyone at the office where my appointment was. I truley felt heard and cared for. I felt and saw their empathy and concern. As far as I was told, the US and mammogram order was clarified as STAT which is supposed to take precedence over routine imaging orders. I advised that I was available to go to any location to help speed up the appointment because we are trying to rule out a very aggressive breast cancer. I assumed STAT would be within a few (2-3) days not almost 2 weeks. I wonder how Meghan feels about the 12 day wait. This cancer can progress in weeks and its urgent to rule out as soon as possible with my symptoms and family history of cancer.

Meghan thornburg was incredible. She was thoughtful and listened intently to my concerns. She addressed everything and made me feel heard and helped so much. I am grateful for the experience of having her as a doctor

The only negative is that since the providers are so busy I was unable to schedule a 5 week follow up as the next available date was in 8 weeks. It would be wise to find a way to have more flexibility when scheduling providers to allow for more timely follow up appointments.

I was prescribed a prescription that was not appropriate with my current medical condition as well potentially harmful.

I have been at patient at Elmwood Primary since their beginning. When my awesome provider retired I was a little nervous. No need to worry! Meghan Thornberg is a wonderful provider. She truly cares for her patients. Health concerns listened to and a two way communication on next steps. Maine General has an exception provider
