Everyone was friendly and professional, but obviously did not look at my records, which were hand carried and given to my primary care physician several months ago. Perhaps they haven't been loaded on to the practice yet. I haven't seen my primary doctor yet to discuss with her about my records, or my health. That won't happen until July, so I found it odd that I even got the referral to this urologist without first being seen for the first time by my new doctor. This appointment was generated by an intake interview that I did the first part of April. I'm pleased that I am under a urologist care for the problems I chronically have ongoing.

Put up better signs so people know where you are.

I was very impressed with my new provider. She listened to my concerns and changed the dosage of my medications and was very knowledgeable in answering questions and providing me with advice. She has an outstanding personality and I felt the visit was very productive. This was my first appointment with her.

It was wonderful to go into an appointment and be validated and not gaslighted by a medical professional. So I commend you guys on being a respectful and validating team of professionals.

They were very helpful in getting me in. The receptionist right through to Margo Taylor was excellent. They took my opinion for my health care to make some decisions on my own to see if I would help in what they suggested. We're working together to hopefully to resolve the issue. Thank you.

Great office!

The automated messaging regarding the referral, appointment etc was very confusing, i.e. getting multiple messages that Urology would reach out with an appointment, when in fact, the appointment was already made. I do believe the referral process from PCP to specialists needs improvement. (Not Urology's fault at all)

The provider, Margo Taylor, was as cold as ice. I did not like her.

I was given conflicting times & dates - seemed they weren't coordinating with each other in the office.

Margo is highly competent and considerate of my condition. I appreciate her help.

Everything is excellent at the office. There's only one big, big, big problem, the location. It's very difficult to find it. If I would not have my cell phone and call the office and they guide me back there, I don't know if I would find it or not because, well, anyway, it's so well hidden that I just couldn't find it and I'm sure I'm not the only one. So if when on a website, if they would put down a map and clearly mark it, that would be helpful. Okay?

I had urinated before the appointment. So when the staff tried to arrange urination during the appointment, I had nothing to offer (in other words, I was dry). My bad.

You did very well and put me at ease and I always hate going to the doctor or any doctor, but when I go to see Margo, she puts me at ease. She understands me. She listens to me. She doesn't rush me and neither do the others that work there. And I just feel very comfortable there. So thank you very much.

Was treated very well and had a very positive experience

Some of the procedures needed to be explained more, for example the injection into the bladder and how it is better or equal too the two medications I am currently taking. How does the Botox going to be better and stop the spasms

When the doctor came in she got right to point, that the kidney stone was too big to pass and they would go in and get it.

It was very challenging to find the building. The sign out front was difficult to find.

Dr Margo Taylor took the time to answer our questions and listened to my concerns. I never felt that we were rushed and appreciated the time she us.

The patient portal is terrible, especially for bill review as you can not see your bill before being taken to a different web site to pay it so you do not get to review a bill before payment and post visit information is also hard to figure out on the portal site. All in all it is not very user friendly compared to other patient portals that I use.

Maine General Urology Dept acceded my expectations for treating the BPH condition I have dealt with for two years. Five days after the Rezum procedure, I can already feel an improvement. Dr. Belanger has an excellent support team, that gave me friendly, professional quality healthcare. Being a new resident, Maine General Health will be my primary source for health care going foreward.
