It was all just as good as my other time coming to the wound care clinic.

Both Karen and Margaret were pleasant and answered all my questions. They were both very knowledgeable. I hope to see them on future appointments.

They explained really well what was going on and how I had to take care of the wound and stuff. I'm hoping it dissipates over the next week or so so I can have my surgery. Thank you.

Although the Wound Clinic could not address my problem, she definitely explained everything to me and referred me too a podiatry at Pen Bay to take the corns off my bunion site . Margaret was very helpful and so was the nurse.

Unlike when I first went to the ER and was basically ignored and turned away for 2nd degree burns on both legs.. Coming to the Wound Care, was a experience of kindness, compassion and humanity. 24 hours after the appointment, I'm feeling so much better...it's a shame that the hospital hasn't put the finances together for more staff. It's understood that they're understaffed and when my primary called for an appointment..they were told that it would be a month before they could see me. Never so happy to hear from them, having had to drive to Portland for any type of care. Recommend the triage Dr who blew me off, get a month off with absolutely no pay. The Wound Care team, should be fully staffed and apologized to for allowing their department to have to struggle with patients. Hats off to the great team of Wound Care.

I am very glad that my care was transferred to Margaret Chapin, NP. Her knowledge of wound care is extensive. I am sure my wound will improve greatly.
