The Cancer Center is top notch. I was diagnosed with Cancer in October 2025 and I couldn't ask for a better place to have my care and chemo done. Everyone is great and Dr. Hathaway and her team are the best, she always makes me feel better after talking with her. My experience has been top notch since day one.

It was a productive meeting with the Dr Hathaway. She actually addressed issues indirectly related to the cancer (stomach and esophagus) which several specialists did not appear to be interested in. There was a scheduling problem, however, which should be mentioned . I was scheduled for a blood draw but the lab didn't have me on their list. I ended up getting the blood draw done AFTER my discussion with Dr Hathaway so we had to rely on outdated data.

Staff was informative, and compassionate. They took the time to explain things to me so I could better understand.

I found the providers to be very engaged and interested in what I had to say and ask.

I had not been there for a year. The staff was very helpful in getting me in the right direction and as always, friendly and polite.

Extremely knowledgeable with my situation and was able to share a lot of information for moving forward with my care. I and the family felt very comfortable with the doctors comments and expertise shared with all of us.

Everything about my appointment was fine.

I really like Dr.Hathaway she explains what I need to know ,the way I understand. Also answers my questions in the way I understand! She's very thoughtful, and shows she cares. Thank you Dr. Hathaway

From the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left, everybody was accommodating, considerate, very thorough, and just all around a wonderful experience. We were there for a cancer appointment, so it was a hard situation, but they made it the best they possibly could, and it was very much appreciated.

The parking situation to get in the hospital is totally unacceptable. I have serious issues walking any distance thus even the handicap parking is always full. No valet parking is ridiculous!!

I'm just so impressed with Dr. Hathaway! She made me feel at ease! She is very knowledgeable, and got me in with a much needed iron infusion, in about a week's time! Very impressive!

The people at the center cared and they showed it and they acted it. They were very caring. Thank you.

Each of the staff persons I came in contact with during my visit were very nice and personable, but I want to take this opportunity to recognize in particular the woman who checked me in. Unfortunately I don't remember her name but she was exceptionally nice. Her gentle demeanor and personality set an incredibly positive tone followed me through the remainder on my visit. I'll try to find out her name the next time I visit the Center, but until then I hope you are able to ascertain who it is.

I do think removing the cafe as it was,hot meals,friendly staff was a grave mistake at the cancer center.It DID PROVIDE SUPER /NEEDED NUTRITION FOR CANCER PATIENTS -NOW.. "GRAB AND GO"- DOES NOT.

EVERY person with whom I came in contact from entering the Alfond Center until I left was friendly and most helpful. The organization of the Oncology department was truly OUTSTANDING! I certainly will communicate my positive experience to friends and acquaintances.

With all the construction it was confusing of were to go from one area to another and the mouse/critter traps in the waiting area are not appealing. They do not exude a feeling of a sanitized environment for immune compromised individuals. Dr Hathaway did assist and walk me to the exit which was nice for a busy doctor to do.

They really care about you and your health

The people and ,nurses and doctors, are all polite and and the doctors are good in answering questions

It's been a year and the new construction was a bit confusing but it will be wonderful at completion. This facility is an example of good planning. The staff has always presented a nice positive attitude, something so needed for cancer.

From the moment I walked in, I felt that I made the right choice to travel an hour for treatment, instead of having it at a facility closer to my home. I have a few friends who have had treatment here and they said it the staff (clinical and non-clinical) are very friendly and proficient in what they do. I was nervous at first, but felt a sense of calm come over me the longer I was there. I feel with Dr. Hathaway and her team, I am in the very best hands.

Much nicer experience than last time. Wait time was within normal expectations.

Drs Hathaway was very knowledgeable and picked up on things my other oncologist dismissed. Easy to communicate with, IU really appreciate the time she took to review my medical records.

My appointment with Dr. Hathaway was very helpful. She is very attentive to detail. However, afterwards I was left alone in the exam room waiting for 45 minutes for a lab appointment to have blood drawn. No one came to see about me and I had to wander around to find another staff member to direct me to the lab.

very professional can caring staff. Doctor Hathaway was excellent as was the person who took my blood as he had quite a challenge. Very happy with the experience!

It was my first time back in a year to Hematology and I had to ask someone where to check in. Then everything went like clockwork. Will be really nice when all the work is done on the building. The grounds look beautiful and parking was much better. Everyone is very friendly and professional.
