There was a line at check-in, and a person from checkout came out and had me come around to check in! Dr. Jelinek explained the surgery very well and answered all my questions!

Everyone showed that they cared, and I felt it as did my husband. They went above and beyond, calling my husband to let him know I was late going into surgery! One nursing assistant showed she cared even when her time was up with me and I was under another's care!

I failed the prep for colonoscopy. Can't reschedule yet due to impending surgery. I will reschedule procedure after I'm all fixed up.

Hi, I just wanted to report that for my procedures and the aftercare that the registration people were amazing, the front desk people at the hospital were amazing. Dr. Jelinek is absolutely wonderful and I would trust her with any family member with their care. And I feel that I received extraordinarily wonderful care from Maine General. I am so appreciative of it. Thank you.

Dr. Jelinek is absolutely the best surgeon ever and a caring and compassionate human being. I felt comfortable and completely at ease from the moment we met. If I require surgery in the future, I will insist on Dr. Jelinek.

I want to say that having Dr. Jelinek as my surgeon was a great thing. She is smart, informed, welcoming, easy to talk to, able to present complicated medical information in an easy to understand way, helpful to me in my decision making, a great surgeon, kind, thoughtful, etc. She helped make my experience much better.

Scheduling wasn't great. The team seems swamped and understaffed, especially given recent hospital closures in the area. Maybe your organization should be hiring more?

I was really well about the operation and precisions. The only thing is the pricing is pretty high and other than that it was all good. It was a quality place. Fast and the scheduling, I think it should be easier to schedule in a month instead of getting an appointment for three months. That's it. Thank you.

Dr. Jelinek and staff where great. Very professional. It's the policies of the hospital and the health care system in general that sucks. Computers that don't talk to each other? No accountability
