It was a pleasant experience as usual. There is no other hospital or staff that I would go for treatment. The Maine General Hospital is second to none in the state of Maine.

All my concerns were addressed. My opinion about my care was also valued. I left with all my questions answered and my request for medication was called in very promptly.

My surgery itself was a horrible experience...I had to wait months for a surgery date feeling incredibly sick ...after my surgery the surgeon never spoke to me to tell me about my gallbladder...my incisions were much larger than they should have been...nurses rushed me out to home trying to beat shift change...overall it was a horrible experience...ESPECIALLY WAIT TIME...I would never recommend

PA Stanhope was very good! She didn't rush me and has extremely good bed side manners. She's very knowledgeable and offered good advice for treatment.

I thought that the surgical staff and the floor staff of the hospital where I stayed after the surgery were excellent. And actually, the staff in the ER were good, but I think they're understaffed. They were good, but there weren't enough of them, so the wait was very long. And I think that could have affected my whole situation because it turned out I had to have like an emergency surgery, and I didn't know that at the time. And I had to wait in the ER for a long time, as did other people. I wasn't alone in that. I just think it's a staffing thing, and not that the staff weren't good, you know, because when they could have two seconds to, you know, stop.

Surgeon, post op appointment, surgery, staff, was phenomenal.
