Katherine Fortin, PMHNP, treats patients with mental health and/or substance use issues at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, Maine. Katherine joined MaineGeneral Medical Center's Allied Health Staff in June 2026. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Katherine practiced for 12 years as a registered nurse in labor and delivery, psychiatry and public health. In addition to symptom reduction, she aims to help patients reconnect with their capacity for balance and harmony and takes a steady, compassionate and collaborative approach to care.
