The Dr. And staff were very friendly and helpful! I've been telling everyone about the great care I got!

Dr Bossie is a wonderful physician- warm, clinically astute, has the best bedside manners, makes patients feel she has time for them despite her busy practice. You should give her a big raise and commendation for all she brings to the community. I did notice the shared front desk staff taking a call from what sounds like a demanding Urology patient. The staff put this person on hold, to discuss what to do/ vent to her coworker, dramatically mimicking what the patient was saying. I recognize the front desk staff deal with a lot of sometimes unreasonable patients, but suggest just the same they be coached on maintaining proper professional decorum when someone is checking in or out and thereby potentially witnessing that exchange as I did. Perception of care starts when they say hello. This is not a complaint, just an observation. I don't think that staff was directly rude to the patient on the phone, and I have empathy for their hard job of fielding multiple calls. I know full well they are on the receiving end of rudeness from patients. Maybe you should pay them well too. Also, I DO NOT give permission for this survey to be made public; this is just to give you feedback on how to improve operations. Thank you.

Dr Bossie is the BEST! She is always prepared, listens intently, researches questions she doesn't know the answer to, and contacts me in a most timely manner with answers that I can understand. The Best doctor around!

Dr. Bossie is theis one of the nicest doctors I've ever had. She is sweet and always has a smile on her face. I just LOVE her!

Very caring and compassionate staff

The visit didnt go well at all. I have a history of always flunked 1 hr glucose test. They should just automatically make me do the three hr to save us all time. What also got me was the comments saying well even if you pass the three hour maybe we should still just make you take your blood sugar levels etc. Since you seem to grow big babies and even if you pass test maybe you still need to be treated as a fail. If you even want to have a chance a a vagina birth was also said. The other two doctors have already set forth a plan and told me there is no issue with a vagina birth if messure smaller or similar size to my last birth. Made me feel like why bother taking the test being talked to and treated that way. She also made comments how big my belly was at almost 27 weeks. She messured down too far from where eithier one other other Dr's have and I've been going right on point of where I should be.

Dr. Bossie is exceptional in all ways. Skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate and an outstanding communicator. Her assistant Bri was also very pleasant and efficient

I love working with Dr. Bossie. She takes her time to explain things clearly, answers all my questions, never makes me feel rushed, and she genuinely cares.

Dr. Bossie very prompt and very knowledgeable about my condition. She was very nice and made me feel very comfortable in spite of what I was there for. I would recommend her to anybody.

The front staff, medical assistant (or nurse) and Dr were excellent. It took over two months to schedule an appt. I had a referral from my Dr and no one contacted me. I called this clinic after a month and the person on the phone wouldn't schedule me. Said something about switching to a new system and they would call me back. After three weeks, I called and the person on the phone immediately scheduled me, but I had to wait a few more weeks for my appt. I would say the scheduling staff needs a bit more training on customer service and stay up on their referrals.

Dr. Bossie is amazing. The best OBGYN that I've ever been to! I highly recommend her. I only wish that I could schedule my appointment a year in advance. You are so fortunate to have her practicing at MGH!

My Dr was AMAZING!!!!! I not been to OBG in long time because the way I was treated n the way they made me feel!!! I have never been treated so good n caring with anyone like the team!! I needed a F/U appt for 3 months and the schedule wasn't available to make it. I would like to be able to schedule my next appt on checkout. It seems like the schedule should be available for atleast a year out.

Dr Bossie was very informative and willing to discuss any questions, as well as elaborate to helpful information such as hospital hours and when to go through ER, for help, wouldn't have thought of this, but helpful to know! Very freindly and interested in getting to know you- not just checking heart beat and moving along!

Dr. Karen Bossie is an impressive physician with great knowledge in her field and is extremely helpful to work with and a wonderful physician.

I am a breast cancer survivor and have been a patient with Dr.Bossie for over five years. She has monitored me throughout. When this recent issue transpired she personally called me to let me know she had consulted with two colleagues about my case. That prompted my decision to have her perform a total hysterectomy. I actually experienced a relief in my decision. I had the surgery at the Thayer facility which was so convenient. All went smoothly. I arrived home by lunch. I actually feel better than I did before. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate Dr. Bossie a 10 plus plus. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful physician that truly cares and goes above and beyond for her patients. Thank you Dr. Bossie for all you do.

It was our first time meeting Dr. Bossie! She was truly fantastic. She had obviously reviewed our ultrasound and my health history prior to meeting me. I have been a patient with Northern Lights. I got this appointment as a referral when I had an appointment with my PCP right around the news of their hospital closing down. Dr Bossie was great despite my uneasiness and lack of confidence the Maine's health system. I'm not from this state and had no clue how impossible it would be to get general appointments or even urgent appointments. First time @ MGMC gyn and meeting Dr Bossie. Cannot say enough superlative things about her !! Immediately felt at ease with her. Bright, friendly, communicated and listened really meaningfully, had THOROUGHLY reviewed and was knowledgeable regarding my past gyn history, and was genuine in every way. Trust her skills and care completely. She discussed everything with me and included me in deciding a treatment plan. AWESOME!!!
