I am impressed with Dr. Charpentier. He knew my Crohn's history, was knowledgeable, upfront and cordial. First impressions can never be changed. He made an excellent first impression with me and I'm in hopes my first impression with him was reciprocated.

I've been Dr. Charpentier for a few years now and this visit made me reconsider continuing my care with him. I felt like the issues I brought were not taken seriously, and his attitude towards a lot of my questions felt patronizing and dismissive. I was disappointed in the care I received.

My experience with my appointment yesterday from going in and registering at the entrance with the receptionist right until I finished seeing the doctor and the assistant and coming back out was absolutely positive, very professional. Everybody was friendly. I have nothing but the best to say and feel about this group as a medical group. Thank you all very much for your help and for taking such good care of me.

Loved having a Dr. who seemed to care and listened and seemed to find there was a solution to how I was feeling. Dr, Charpentier was a breath of fresh air.

How you could most improve at Maine General Hospital is handicap parking closer to the building. Or better yet, bring back valet parking. Disabled patients cannot do this. We cannot walk from the back 40, even though it is smart handicap. There aren't enough spaces. We need valet parking brought back. It's been three years since COVID's been over. It's time for valet parking.
