Jonathan Thomas, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurologist who treats patients with neurological issues as a medical staff member at MaineGeneral Neurology, which he joined in August 2025. His clinical focus includes brain injury medicine (consciousness disorders; delirium management; spasticity assessment and management; stroke rehabilitation; assessment and management of mild to severe brain injury, and swallowing dysfunction and medical complications related to brain injury) and traumatology (assessment and management of blunt and penetrating head trauma, peripheral nerve damage, amputation and musculoskeletal ailments related to trauma). Dr. Thomas most recently practiced at Eglin Hospital, Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, where he also served as chief of neurology.
