Went in for my annual check up about my Psoriasis. Mentioned that my leg and hip were acting up and that I had a couple of blisters on my leg. Was diagnosed with Shingles and he took a swab and ordered a prescription for me. Took care of this very quickly.

Dr. Karnes and his nurse were both friendly. The doctor always offers his hand for a handshake at the beginning of the appointment. It's a nice touch and creates a relaxed atmosphere. We discussed some of my treatment options for FFP and he verified that I do have Rosacea. A cyst? on my neck was removed, because it became irritated when my clothing rubbed against. All in all a very professional visit.

Dr Karnes and the staff at the Ballard center make every visit pleasant

Please pay attention to the waiting room tv. No way for guests to change the settings, and there was a gruesome alligator hunting (maybe drowning? I couldn't bear to look) program on the entire time. Reception staff were oblivious. How about just calm music instead?

The check in lady had multiple accounts to check me into and missed one of them I guess I waited 45 minutes for them to call me back and they said they did not know i was there waiting

Everyone was kind, helpful and doctor was reassuring and seemed very competent in his treatment of my condition.

Dr Karnes showed compassion and easily explained what he needed to for treatment. He was quick and very thorough in administering the liquid nitrogen. I was given instructions for care and a follow-up appointment. I was in and out of my exam within 25 minutes . The front office staff were able to schedule my appointment within a day of our call.

As I have found with other offices, the RNs are far less helpful than the receptionists and doctor.
