Jocelin Reatiraza, MD

Dr Reatiraza is wonderful! Unfortunately when communicating through the patient portal clinical questions, a medical assistant should not be responding. Especially if they don't understand medications, the multiple names they have or the ability to properly triage patients. This delayed my care because the individual had no clue what I was referring to. Is this even legal to have a non qualified individual responding to medical questions?

Jocelin is a wonderful physician. She is, she listens and she gives good feedback. I had another doctor at Oakland Family Medicine and I was not happy with her and I went from being really unhappy to just being delighted to meet with her every single time. And also her nurses that take your blood pressure and weight, they're all consistently caring and very precise and thoughtful.

Dr. Reatiraza is the best. I came to her with a faulty thyroid, in a wheelchair,100 pounds overweight. In two years, with-her guidance, I have lost 100 pounds, have two wonderful new knees, have thyroid under control, and most severe osteoarthritis symptoms treated well enough to kayak and hike! The orthopedic & physiatry team have changed my life!

I had never met this doctor. My PCP left and there was a lack of continuity of my care. I requested an appt to clarify some test results that had been left hanging. The doctor was excellent. The wait time was extensive. That being said once I met with the Dr she was very thorough and did not make me feel rushed. I think these doctors are being asked to see too many patients to stay properly on top of appointments and reviewing information and treatment plans. The facility itself didn't appear as clean and kept up as I would think it would be. The overall staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful experience from the second I walked through the door to leaving. I recommend Oakland Family is the BESTEST of the BESTEST ??

Dr. Reatiraza is an excellent Primary Care Physician who listens very well and I enjoy having her as my doctor. She knows what to do in my case with any med needs I may need, and her follow through is excellent.

I got a same day appointment, which I wasn't expecting. I love that my doctor takes the time to discuss everything with me. I never feel rushed.

Dr and staff very friendly. Visits are scheduled out for 6 months to get in for physical therapy.

They do well with the influx of patients and everyone was really nice. I like Dr J as she explains things that make sense and I feel she listens to my health concerns and treats me like a human.

She was really late over an hour after scheduled appt time but she spent adequate time with me

We had to wait a long time to be able to get to see Dr. Reatiraza because we were new patients. When we had our appointment, all the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. We very much trust Dr. Reatiraza to be our new primary health provider, and we're very satisfied with the care we're getting from that practice.

Dr Jocelin is very personable and attentive to the reason why I was in the office. She ask me enough questions to get a full picture of what is and has happened prior to the appointment. When I left I felt like we were both on the same page and a very good agreeable treatment plan was in place.

Waiting a month for a needed appointment when I was in pain was not acceptable.

It was friendly and informative. We had some good laughter and were serious when the circumstances indicated.

Jocelin was extremely thorough going over my lab work and she spent a lot of time with me. My only disappointment or frustration with the office is it's very difficult to get an appointment with your doctor if you have, if you get sick during the year. I just never get to see her again. I only get to see her once a year. And I think the communication isn't good. There's too many people who you have to communicate when you have a question. The care team thing is just frustrating. You don't get called back right away. It just seems too complicated. But other than that, the care I do have when I'm in the office with the doctors is excellent. Thank you very much, bye.

Too many rescheduling. My appointment was rescheduled 3 times by office before I got seen.

Everyone was very kind, even though they seemed extremely busy.

The only improvement would be less patients scheduled so the waits wouldn't be quite so long. However, my care was excellent. Very good care. Dr. Reatiraza is a huge improvement over my last doctor. She listened to my concerns and took me seriously. She remembered things from my appointment a year before, which I appreciated.

Dr. Reatiraza wonderful. She listens! She builds a story for her new patients so she looks at the whole person she has a platform from which to referance and keep track of your health. She is very accepting of questions and thoroughly explains any diagnosis that effects you . She doesn't overmedicate.
