I had the best experience at Maine General! From the moment I arrived through my discharge. The check in was easy and everyone was very nice. My care team and Dr. Wechsler were top notch. Please extend my thanks to everyone!

Took 5 weeks to see a person about my Condition

The check-in process is a bit odd. There is no process for it.

The price is a joke.

Everyone was very friendly.

I had a hip replacement in June. My mom had one in December. Each appointment we saw Jenee, she was genuine, caring, kind, intelligent and we are very thankful for her expertise!

Very pleased with the care I received on Tuesday. After two years of suffering, I finally got a diagnosis.

My session with Jenee Wechsler, PA was perfect. We agreed upon a treatment plan that should fill the bill. I give her the 10 rating.

Dr Wechsler is a great doctor who listens and cares about her patients. She is very good at her job.

I felt heard in receiving the appropriate information for my care

My appointment was scheduled by my PA after an Express Care visit. I was under the impression that the PA was going to schedule me for physical therapy. My next notice of any appointment came from Maine General Orthopedics. What communication there was between the Express Care PA and MGO, I do not know.

Jenee was extremely pleasant. I am very pleased wth all care givers at this facility.

The orthopedics office that Jenee Wexler works out of was not only very unprofessional from all of the staff that I've dealt with for my health care, she asked questions that did not pertain to my health and then also mocked, braided, gaslighted, and patronized my care and the process that I had to go through in order for her to even show up in the room. I would not recommend Jenee Wexler to anybody, nor would I recommend this orthopedics office. The care provided is absolutely dog snot.

Very easy to have a conversation with the practioner

The number of rinder text , 5 of them was annoying and I suspect for some aging patients confusing

Jenny Wexler does an outstanding job and so does everyone on her team. She also had a student gentleman with her and he did an outstanding job. Everyone in your office is pleasant, kind. The healthcare providers are spot on. They're experts in their field. They're very well educated and they're nice. They make you feel comfortable for having me injections, which aren't comfortable, but Jenny does a great job with those injections and so did the student that she had. Thank you very much for the entire team. Everybody that works there is a blessing. I can't be more grateful and I can't be more thankful.

Jenee was absolutely wonderful. She listened,shared treatment options and gave treatment. Procedure for knee injections a lot less painful from my last several injections.I was apprehensive changing practitioner but now very pleased.

They were very kind, they are very helpful, they are always willing to find a way to make me happy, so that's not very hard to do. I would recommend them and give them A pluses all the way around.

The staff is always pleasant and polite. I never feel rushed during my appointments.

They are overworked, too hard in health care currently. It is in crisis mode.

I have been unable to walk for almost 4 years. My Primary Care person was a Nurse practitioner who did absolutely nothing. She told me I had "a little arthritis". She sent me for steroid injections in my back which helped with my back pain, but I still couldn't walk without tremendous pain. I finally switched my primary care to Dartmouth Family Practice so that I could see a physician And he referred me to Dr. Wechsler. By this time I had given up hope of being able to walk again, and had resigned myself to becoming a wheelchair case in the near future. Anyway, Dr. Wechsler took one look at my hip x-rays and told me my right hip was "Shot. Completely gone" and that the left hip was really bad. On top of that he recommended that both of my knees need replacement. This may sound like bad news to some people, but not to me! After 4 years (closer to 5 actually) of getting a response equivalent to "old age is tough", I finally have some hope that I will be able to walk again. I haven't been able to hunt, fish, go for walks, or even plant my garden, and I have been seriously concerned that I would be able to continue living where I do, which is the best place on earth as far as I'm concerned. I know I have a long and difficult road ahead, but I am up to it if it gets me back on my feet again. Thank you, Dr. Wechsler, and all of you at Maine General Orthopedics. I have finally come to the right place!

My experience was very very excellent. Everybody was courteous was helpful and was informative. Just wanted to say that the nurse was excellent. Called a few times to see how I was doing and it was very helpful.

It takes way too long to get an appointment scheduled. I understand that you are busy and do not have enough medical staff. I get that. But for issues like mine, it would be nice to have an appointment within weeks instead of waiting months.

Left extremely satisfied with the proposed plan of care.

I was very impressed with the overall experience.

I really like the fact that she went over my x-rays for my knee thoroughly and then we talked about all the options and then she gave me my options for treatment and she picked the option of giving me an injection which worked really well. So I'm happy with that and hopefully I won't have to come back too soon but I will be back. Thank you.

I was very disappointed it took almost 3 months to get an appointment for my knee discomfort. I thought being an established patient should have made a difference in the wait time. However, my treatment with Jenee was very good. She explains things well and I feel she really listens to me.

Scheduling visits with providers in a timely manner remains a significant concern.

It was a well-oiled machine All the doctors nurses and staff knew what they were doing and when to do it.

Jenny Weschler, she's the best. She really cares for a patient. She really wants to help, and she, you know, is concerned and discusses nicely with you and allows you to make decisions and tries to give you the negatives and the positives. I've always appreciated her, her knowledge and her work ethic and her kindness.

They all treated me with respect and caring

All the staff was very pleasant & professional but unfortunately I arrived 15 mins ahead of my appointment time as requested and had to wait 45 min before getting in for an injection that only took less than 10 min.

I went in for an injection to my left knee and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. Jenee, NP explained everything to me before and after the procedure. It was a positive experience.

I have always enjoyed going to see Jenny Wexler. She has a wonderful attitude and keeps telling you exactly what you're going to need to do.

Jenny Wexler, nurse Jenny, has been my nurse for my knee and my hip for just about four years. Five stars, ten star. You can't get any better than this person. She tries like very hard and listens very carefully to me.

The appointment was fine but waiting times were definitely running long.

It was a pleasure to meet Jenee. She is pleasant and caring. She helped me immensely, and I am walking without a limp for the first time in months.
