Once again, the fabulous folks at Maine General Express Care treated me with respect, professionalism, humor, and patience - exactly as they had during my previous visits. Augusta is VERY fortunate to have such a wonderful team, from front desk to exam room, caring for us.

I went there a wk ago and so my problem didn't go away so I went back today the PA was very helpful she check me and asked questions she prescribed me some medicine to help and call her if my condition doesn't get better. I was very pleased with her

OR staff, especially RNs were amazingly and did all they could while waiting to be sent to Portland. Only problem I saw was a person asking to collect $115 from me as I was just being brought in by the EMTs in agony. That sort of thing is really uncalled for with any patient brought into the ER by ambulance (and I can assure you you'll be paid in full by my insurance and myself). Again . Kudos to the ER staff!

When I got there it was packed! I thought I would be there for hours. They did something cool. They triaged patients, sent them back to the waiting room, while waiting for an available room. Once roomed, I only waited maybe 10 minutes before being seen by a healthcare provider. I never felt rushed. The total time for my visit was 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was a great visit!

Emily, was professional, answered questions, listened, care instructions were clearly elaborated.

Anything and everything that you did for me and explained to me was perfect. I understood you perfectly. You were very patient, very understanding, and you knew I was a hurting unit. And I was very happy with each and every one of you. It's too bad that the hospital in Augusta wasn't as nice as you people are, or as expedient, or as on the ball. And I thank you so very much for a very, very painful thing that I had to go through. But I appreciate each and every one of you, and God bless all of you.

Emily Zack was helpful and eased my anxiety. I had found a tick on my inner thigh and was VERY concerned about Lyme Disease, etc. Because the tick hadn't embedded into my flesh in my thigh, I was fine. Emily was very professional and took care of the situation. Thank you.

Everyone did a great job there. I came in with a very sore arm that had broken 10 years ago and they were very quick to make sure that I got an x-ray, which I did. And someone followed up with me personally afterwards of what to do. Very, very impressed with Maine Express Care. I've used you folks a couple times and I'm just very impressed with the care and I'm very impressed with the efficiency and the nicest of the front desk staff and the providers there. So great job. This is the second time I've had the misfortune to have Emily Zack as my provider at Express Care. She does not listen to the complaint; it always feels like she's made a decision about what's wrong before she even walks in the door to do an exam.

long wait time in waiting area

Excellent visit quickly roomed, provider extremely pleasant, listened to my symptoms, exam and explained the medication. She was excellent and thorough.

The reception area when I got there was extremely kind and helpful. And Emily, the nurse practitioner, made me feel so safe and listened to and she showed that she cared. So I felt very comfortable with her, even though I felt so bad. So I really liked Emily. She's very kind, thorough, and I trusted her. Thank you.

The person I saw for my appt was awesome, she took her time and explained everything.

It took a long time for them to call me with urine results. First they said kidney stone take Tylenol and then they call on Saturday to tell me it is a uti. I think I should have known sooner. Other than that great care!

Yes, I was very pleased to think that they called me back a few days after I had been in for treatment and they had called me in a prescription. They called in to tell me what the lab results showed, the urinalysis. So I was very pleased with that. And I would come back for your service again when needed. Okay, thank you.

Both the person who checked me in in the initial visit and then the nurse practitioner who saw me were excellent in not minimizing my concerns and helping me with what I should do if I got worse and I got better. So thank you very much. Great service.

MaineGeneral Health's Express Care is a fantastic service, especially for someone like me whose primary care physician is almost two hours away from Augusta. The health care I've received there has always been topnotch. I could not be more grateful for this facility, which not only does a great job but means that one does not have to go to the emergency room. A+++

Great staff. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. Have had to visit Express Care a few times this year. It is always the same. My husband and I are lucky such care is available.

Emily listened to my symptoms; checked my file; diagnosed and prescribed an antibiotic. I am better, which is a relief.

The parking situation for vehicles needs to be addressed. Some people can't walk from the across the street parking lot to the front door, sometimes fix the parking lot.

The person at the front desk was absolutely great. The two nurses were so kind when I was in a terrible pain. They help me out so much. I actually called two days later on the phone and the person who I spoke to was also very very nice. I cannot express how grateful I am that I got the care that I did. Thank you.

Hi, I've only been to the express care one time and I was treated very, very well. I was very satisfied, but I would need more experience, I think, to rate a 10, so to speak. So I rate it an 8 and I just wanted to explain that. It wasn't that anyone did anything wrong or bad. I was very happy in how fast I got in. I was very happy with the service. and the way that I can have a call back if I needed antibiotic or more help rather than come and start over. Thank you for your service. Bye.

This was a refreshing experience - I expected to be there for hours waiting but was in and out in an hour. I wish I'd had known how great this place was sooner Emily Zack was very professional and actually listened to me explaining my symptoms and treated me accordingly.

Angie and Jill and Emily were all absolutely fantastic. I really appreciated them in what was a pretty emotionally fraught visit for me.

Great staff

Express care is always so kind and attentive. Quick good service I would recommend going to express care over the emergency department any day. I personally feel that the providers that I have ever had at express care is caring, quick, knowledgeable and overall a great place to get care if you can't get into your primary for something urgent.

I love the people there very nice and careing

The staff was very helpful to me. I got a quick response to register. The staff at the registry should get me a wheelchair because I couldn't walk. And I was placed in the TV room for less than five minutes. And then I was taken to the room where my doctor is going to be, Dr. Zack. And she explained everything to me, outlined everything. Then I was wheeled back to the front. And then I was taken by a staff downstairs. And then I met another staff, which is a social worker, and she stayed there with a lot of us down there, and make sure everything was okay with us, to take us to our car. So I thank you guys for the great work that you are doing.

I always get excellent treatment at Urgent Care. The docs listen to what I have to say and the front staff are always personable and professional no matter how full the waiting room is at the time. Top notch team!

An efficient operation, I was seen after a short wait.

Got me thru a difficult time

I brought my daughter in for an ear infection. She has had a lot of ear infections so I didn't have a lot of questions and made that clear to the physician. I was happy with the visit and care.

I was too sick to be treated at ExpressCare. The nurse practitioner said it would be in my best interest to go to the ER in Augusta, which we did. She explained why ...I was too sick to get it but my kids got it and it all worked out for the better

I'm from out of State and they provide care that I needed at that time,everyone was stars to me

It was a great experience from start to finish. This is my third time this summer needing care & each time I have been more than pleased.

Professional and friendly

My only concern was how long it took to get the test results and a prescription. I was told 48 hrs. And it was 72. I called several times before receiving a call- back. Staff was very friendly.

Emily is a good listener and communicator. She worked with me to Make decisions., i only wanted the xray. . Follow up was good. I was surprised we had agreed for me to go to Gardiner Urgent Care for the xray but the documentstion said Augusta. It all worked out but would have been easier: That may have been the 'consultants preference. I was treated. well.

When my own personal doctor wasn't really listening to my concerns, it felt very validating to have the provider at express care listen to everything I said and about my situation and symptoms. She explained that we could go at it a few ways. Once again, I felt they really empathized with my extreme itching. Thanks so much! I'm feeling much better!
