The nurse who took my vitals wasn't very friendly but the Doctor Emily was outstanding and really took the time to make sure she identified the problem, let me know what to do after I left and listened to me vent about the stress I was dealing with. She took better care of me than my own Dr. , I wish I could see Emily as my primary physician. Your company is lucky to have her.

I moved out of the area and technically should go to Penbay. I choose to travel to waterville or augusta for my care unless it's an emergency. Maine general is the best care system in the state of Maine.

When we walked in the lady at the front desk was slouched over leaning on her arm as if asleep almost. It didn't appear anyone was there so when she said "are you here to check in?" I actually went to the wrong window because I couldn't even see her. She stayed that way the entire interaction without looking up. I couldn't see her name as her Name-tag was flipped backwards. It was odd as we usually have great interactions with the front staff there but this was definitely not.

Hi there. I found Emily Schatz to not be very knowledgeable about antibiotics. She prescribed penicillin instead of Augmentin, when Augmentin is known to be a much stronger, more well-rounded antibiotic given to patients. So I'm not sure why penicillin is often encouraged, but many people have said that they've been offered penicillin there, and really there's so many more updated antibiotics available. So I don't think that that was a good fit. I also thought the two hour wait with just three cars in the parking lot and four providers on was really a little ridiculous. So those are my two feedbacks. Thank you.

My experience receiving health care from Maine General professionals continues to be excellent. This was my first visit to an Express Care facility and I was so pleased that from the moment I entered the facility, I checked in quickly and within a few minutes I was reviewing my medicine list with a nurse and was ready to be seen by the health care provider. The nurse practitioner Emily listened, examined me, addressed my problem, and gave me excellent advice that has been very helpful. I am very pleased by my experience at Express Care in Waterville.

My experience with the doctor was overall very negative. She barely glanced at my skin infection, didn't give me a chance to provide details of what is going on and how it feels and how it has spread. She said keep doing what i'm doing and with attitude asked if i needed a refill on ointment. Since my infection has spread all over my body but i 100% will not return to this express care.

When I went to express care I was prescribed a hot washcloth. The next day I went to the er, diagnosed with a dangerously severe sinus infection that went into my eye and caused swelling and partial vision loss. I am now on the mend after being treated outside of your system. Maine general is awful.

It was an amazing experience! I'm honestly hoping that I might be able to change my children's and my PCP to Maine General. We currently use Northern Light in Newport and I would be open to changing if we were accepted!

This was my third time going to Maine General Express, all for different reasons. On each visit, the staff has been helpful, respectful and thorough.

The nurse practitioner checked my ears said my ears looked good and chalk it up to allergies. She didn't listen to my lungs even after I said I had a bad cough, never felt my lymph nodes or look in my mouth. She then proceeded to tell me if I wasn't better in 12 weeks to go back.

I arrived a little before 8 am and they didn't open until 8 but they were able to register me a bit early. I didn't wait long at all. I got there early because I thought it would take a while and I had work later in the morning. The staff was kind and efficient. It was a great experience.

Emily Schatz did not listen to my lungs. I have asthma and mentioned I was wheezing from the rash. Emily barely looked at my rash. She brushed off everything I had to say and when I asked for prednisone to help my rash of two weeks, she said she was refusing service even though it would help my rash. I have never felt so brushed off and uncared for. Extremely discouraging when I was in need of help.

I realize in this day and age that our health department isn't like. It used to be, but to sat and wait as long as I did in the waiting room and then in the room. And then for this woman just come in. Look at me, listen to my heart and tell me to walk out the door and go to the fair hospital. I will never go back. To your Express, care again. All the staff at express care were GREAT. Emily showed concern, the nebulizer treatment medication she gave me allowed me to breathe. She also suggested that if I got worse, I needed to go back to see her. I got better but if not, I would not hesitate to go back. Great staff at express care.

The provider I saw only treated my "Asthma", which I do not have, never been diagnosed with. She did not treat my other symptoms that were causing the shortness of breath from the chest and nasal congestion and severe coughing. I was only given an inhaler as I don't do well with prednisone. She gave me a note to be out of work for only 2 days when she said symptoms could last for up to 10 days. I called back 2 days later because I was still very ill, and I was told to follow up with my PCP, and I told them my PCP asked me to call Express Care. I felt very rushed out the door and dismissed. I'm discouraged with MaineGeneral with this experience.

Did not let me talk or explain my history or my symptoms. She looked at me after 5 minutes and told me that there's nothing she could do for me. I told her my throat still hurt too. She didn't even look in my throat.

The Dr only checked my ears and felt my face... never listened to my heart or lungs. She was only with me a couple minutes, prescribed an antibiotic. After we left we waited 1 hour to go to the pharmacy and they had nothing for me. She never sent in the prescription .

I think they did very well. The medication they gave me a choice, you know, prednisone or the other one for my toe. And we chose the other one and it didn't work as well. So I'm going to talk to my regular doctor and they're supposed to get back to me. So we tried something new and at least they explained everything well and I'm still happy with their service. I was very unhappy with the care I got. I did not get any medication for the problem I had. I ended up going to my primary care and she had to put me on prednisone and other medication and cough syrup so I could get better.

I just want to say that it was the fastest, most efficient urgent care visit I have ever had. I get in there, we were in the waiting room for a brief time, we were triaged, and we saw the doctor or the nurse practitioner, and we're out of the building probably within like 35 minutes. My daughter had an ear infection. So, I mean, the staffing was really good. Even though it was a weekend, I thought it was going to be worse, but it was really efficient. Thanks.
