This was first experience with the MG orthopedics team; it went well. I'm definitely pleased to once again have a provider for the issues I'm dealing with.

Dr. Balutis is extremely knowledgeable, professional, personable and is the best doctor.

The doctor used lidocaine on me even though in my record it says I am allergic to lidocaine. I had a reaction and I called the doctor. Nobody has called me back since.

Dr. Balutis was great. The staff in x-ray left me to, there will be a letter coming. So I'm just going to say I'm very extremely disappointed at the care that the staff gave me. Dr. Balutis was fantastic. No reflection on Dr. Balutis. The rest of the staff, you can have.

All the staff, whether I'm at the Augusta campus or Waterville campus are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Balutis is an amazing surgeon and person! Both of my surgeries performed by her have gone extremely well. I couldn't be more happy.

I love the Doctor she's super,I wish they acted like they knew what to do better when I was having surgery and has a bad experience in the recovery almost fainting after the procedure so I asked for water cold clothes and mostly had my poor daughter help me as they said I have to leave for another surgery after me..I'm happy other than that

Registration is always the most difficult part of a MGMC appointment. Too many of the registration staff is rude. I understand their job is not easy but treating patients as you would like to be treated is not that difficult.

When I showed Dr. Balutis the swelling in my right hand, which was clearly larger than the swelling in my left hand, she dismissed it and minimized my concerns about the swelling and pain. She stared and typed at her computer the whole time. Her lack of connection with me made me feel like she didn't care about me as a patient or a human. I felt dismissed and unheard, which left me feeling emotionally uncared for and disheartened.

This was my first patient experience with MaineGeneral and will definitely seek them out for care that I am unable to get in Rockland. Everyone was wonderful and glad I have established care with Dr Balutis for my hand physician.

Dr. Balutis was very involved in my care personally. She reached out to me multiple times personally to ensure that I was comfortable and stable to the best of my ability until I saw her. She is an amazing provider. I wish they were all like her.

Doctor's should schedule enough time to do procedures at time of service. Especially since mine is an easy one. I ran a medical office in New York for 20 years, I always scheduled enough time. This back and forth stuff gets ridiculous. I have to work and sometimes scheduling is not convenient.

Dr Balutis was awesome! She has the whole package-very upbeat and caring, gave me options of what could be done and told me she could be reached anytime about my situation through the Portal because I use it! I wouldn't hesitate to have her operate on my hand if it comes to that.

The appointment that was made was through Me General Imaging for an ultrasound. That is why it couldn't be scheduled earlier. Not the Orthopedic team's fault.

The doctor I saw was excellent. She didn't need much time to diagnose and explain the issue. She was great and she acted quickly on it and I immediately got a cortisone shot to counter my inflammation.

Dr. B is the most knowledge, and capable provider, but unlike many providers in the system she gives her patient complete attention and provides information in a pleasant and thorough manner. I only wish she was a pca. I have had problems with trigger finngers for a long time and have had numerous providers she is by far the best I have encountered.

Sorry, I was asked about my medication. Very pleased with everything.

Check in went very well and my appointment went very well as well. Check out however was very frustrating. I needed to set up another appointment and it was like the woman at check out was not listening to me at all. I let her know multiple times that I could only do late afternoon appointments on Friday. She just kept naming off morning appointment times like she wasn't even listening. No reason way she keep doing it was communicated. I just decided at that point that she was not listening and I would call at a later time to get an appointment schedule.

Dr. Balutis was wonderful! She was a breath of fresh air and a rainbow all rolled into one. She was very knowledgeable and compassionate. I felt seen and heard.

Dr Balutis is the greatest. She really showed caring for me, listened to my concerns, and met needs for me which she really didn't need to meet, but she did because she cares for her patients. I was very blessed when I saw her yesterday.

This was my second hand surgical procedure with Dr. Balutis. She is a great combination of technical skill and caring. She explained I have several issues and that carpal tunnel surgery would not resolve the others, however would relieve some of my pain. She left it up to me to decide if and when. Dr. Balutis and her staff made the experience positive. I was anxious about being awake during the procedure. She didn't diminish my concerns, rather acknowledged and addressed them explaining why I wasn't to be sedated, would not see the actual procedure, and it would take 10 minutes. My experience was so positive I scheduled the other hand after. I will recommend her to anyone who needs a hand surgeon.

Great doctors office and everyone is very nice.

The reception staff seemed overworked, but nice. The nurse was nice, and also time pressured. The doctor was exceptional. She spent the time needed, was attentive, was communicative, and is certainly an asset to the organization.
