Very good care provided by surgeon. very satisfied with results of care.

I believe Dr. McGillicuddy is one of the finest doctors I've ever met. I'm quite old and I've seen a lot, but he is absolutely wonderful. He listens, he gives information, he's kind, he's empathetic. I will follow him as long as I humanly possibly can. And I always say good things about Maine General because I've been treated very, very well.

Dr. Macguillcudy is extremely knowledgeable and was kind with an anxiety ridden senior citizen. It was a first time visit that was wonderful.

This doctor's office was the first time I have experienced a feeling of my problem being taken care of. Dr. McGillicuddy was excellent in his explanation of the situation, as well as giving me encouragement of any further problems and being seen by him asap. I have dealt numerous times other than this with the booking department through my doctor, their nurse, and myself to them being unaware of what was going on in scheduling. No one was able to help in all the times my doctor's office has called and myself. The department just switched us to different departments or never called back when leaving messages. Even my doctor's office was not respected in leaving a message and never have it returned. I don't expect an immediate appointment but shouldn't have to wait a month to two to get a scheduled appointment and then wait months to be seen. I have never been disappointed with the medical team I see but from my experience as a doctor's office manager, Maine General in Augusta should look into a better system of scheduling appointments with that department. No one should have to be on the phone for an hour being transferred from one department to the next because no one knows what's going on even though the doctor's office and nurse have called after a referral has been sent.

Dr.McGillicuddy was absolutely fantastic!! I've seen lots of doctors in my life and he is on the top of my list.

The gentleman in the first entrance was so very kind & helpful...over & above! The aides in the hallways were very helpful & kind also. Nice clean restrooms. Amazing for the amount of people there. I give you a "10"

Dr. McGillicuddy was wonderful! He explained everything very thoroughly and even did diagrams to make it easier. His staff was very helpful.

The showerhead in room 317 west needs to be repared. I was not able to take a shower, disappointed

I have always had a good experience at any of the offices at maine general.

Dr couldn't help me

Dr. McGillicuddy would be a 10. He's obviously knowledgeable and a great communicator, easy to understand and clear about the distinction between what he sees, and what he infers. He willingly presents and explains his conclusions, but he listens respectfully to my concerns and questions. Though I accepted his advice, that wasn't a knee-jerk response: I feel that I am a partner in dealing with my health. He is also one of the kindest and most sympathetic doctors I have met. For a first meeting, this was exceptional. he comes across as kind and genuine, and I have no reason to suspect that that is not honest.

I feel that the knowledge of the support staff in Paris made me feel more confident for the entire process, which I loved and would have put me more at ease had I known a lot of that before. But when I met with an anesthesiologist prior to the surgery, I did feel a lot of confidence there also. Someone who had stepped in. Let's see. I was having the doctor ask me if I had any questions about my condition and also any other concerns. And I mentioned my eyes and I said I was having trouble with double vision due to the stroke. And I said I had heard there was therapy for that. He said he didn't know who to contact, but that he would, he gave me his card and said, you know.

Thank you. My experience over there was extremely great. From the minute we walked in, someone found us where we needed to go. We got there. Everyone was wonderful. I can't ask for a better place than that hospital. And the doctor was Dr. McGillicuddy, and he was exceptional. So everything was a plus 10. And if I had to recommend them, I would in a heartbeat. My regular hospital is RFGH. I come here to see Dr. McGillicuddy. I have a huge complaint with your portal! The one at RFGH is so complete and this one has basically nothing listed for me, in clouding my meds of which there are many.

I was able to schedule the appointment very quickly. I had the ultrasound at 2 PM and saw Dr. McGillicuddy at 3:30 PM Dr. McGillicuddy and his assistant were one of the nicest doctors that I've had to deal with. They both were caring and explained everything to me thoroughly. They even told me to think about it and let them know if I decided to have the surgery. They did not push it on me. I would definitely recommend Dr. McGillicuddy to anyone. I will definitely go back if I need to.

Although I saw the Vascular surgeon Dr. Mc gillicuddy 's for the first time and for a very short time I felt an affinity with him immediately to follow with some more testing.

We answered these questions defining care team as the team at Maine General and Vascular Surgery. It has been a very positive experience with both Maine General and Vascular Surgery. Our answers reflect on our confidence level at Maine General/Cascular Surgery and do not reflect our confidence level with 2 out of 3 of Mom's past PCP's at Augusta Family Medicine. Maine General Hospital/VS has exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, we have a growing need to double check what we are told/not told at Augusta Family Medicine. Significant symptoms that should be easily recognized as possible high risks by trained professionals are missed, leaving us feeling we cannot trust that we will be advised appropriately.

Staff & doctors responded almost immediately to my care. Dr McGilllicuddy.was.extremely attentive with my after surgery care and ptogress. He is also putting in place home nurses to help assist with my care. I have complete trust in him for my care. Excellent surgeon!!

I left the Lewiston hospital because of the way pt are treated and the loss of records. I felt 100 percent better the minute I walked into your hospital and was greeted by the smiling helpful receptionist thank you!!!!

I was very pleased. The whole staff was prepared. They knew all about me. We had the CT imaging of my aneurysm, and Dr. McGillicuddy was very thorough, and I'm going to follow up with a ultrasound. Very nice facility, very nice surgical department, and I highly have already recommended it.

This facility has improved significantly since the last time I was there. Also you seem to picking up some of the better doctors and surgeons in this area. I left Maine General system, years ago. I have been impressed with current staff changes and upgrades.
