I was impressed with how quickly Dr. Wexler got to the point and covered all the bases thoroughly and in a nice way.

DR. WEXLER IS EXTREMELY BOOKED UP. IT SEEMS THAT THE CARE OF MY KNEE FALLS MAINLY ON MY PCP. I TRIED TO GET IN TO SEE HIM WHEN I DEVELOPED A BONE BRUISE AS WELL AS SWELLING IN MY TIBIA WITHIN A WEEK OR TWO OF THE LAST GEL SHOT BUT I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO BE SEEN ON A TIMELY BASIS. I HAVE BEEN IN HELLISH PAIN FOR OVER TWO MONTHS. OTHER THAN TKR OR MORE SHOTS (NO) THERE IS NOTHING THAT HE CAN DO FOR ME. I THOUGHT THAT IS WHAT SPECIALISTS WERE FOR.

Dr Wexler spent alot of time with us before surgery and explained things very clearly. We took the joint replacement class today, great useful information.

I was just very impressed not only with the staff, but with Dr. Wexler. Everything went better than I thought, better than planned, my recovery, the follow-up, and the procedure in itself. I couldn't be more happy.

Had a little bit of trouble out of the Waterville office setting up the appointment and getting followed through. At one point I had an appointment and the doctor wasn't there. Other than that, Dr. Wexler is is an amazing doctor

On time, no waiting to be seen. Always professional, empathetic to my feelings and pain levels. Encouraging and celebrating with me on my weight loss and regaining my strength.

It took so long to get in to get an appointment after being in pain for quite a few weeks.

Dr Wexler and Rachel were fantastic. Very compassionate. Shannon worked with me on the phone twice prior to my visit and was very helpful and knowledgeable getting my prior authorization from my insurance.

Dr Wexler is great!!

I was put in a waiting room for almost an hour before Dr Wexler came in and said " you're not who I thought you were " ; and then he had to pull up my chart and told me he was sorry that he didn't have time to see me. My knee and foot were not examined and he ordered X-rays which I had. He did call me with results and apologized several times for the difficulties that day which I do appreciate; but perhaps they should have rescheduled patients for another time. I had to sit in paper shorts for a long time and it was cold in the room. I also paid for my copay but I feel that I shouldn't be charged for the visit where I wasn't really seen by the doctor. I have been told knee replacement is recommended but don't feel that I've received enough information.

Dr. Wexler was both charming, informative , helpful and extremely pleasant. The ancillary staff were all quite kind and acted interested in my care.

Dr. Wexler replaced my mother's hip in December. It went so well, I asked Downeast Orthopedics in Bangor for a referral to Dr. Wexler. We live in Houlton and it's worth the drive. Jennie is a sweetheart, caring provider, too!!!! She stepped in for a quick visit, as my mom was with me. She aided in her surgery!

The staff & Dr Wexler are absolutely great. This being my first major operation since I was much younger, I was concerned but the staff helped with everything. I & my wife could not be more satisfied with MGM. We have relatives in FL who seem to have nothing but issues down there.

I appreciate the concern that Dr Wexler and staff have for my post operative condition. Dr. Wexler's referral to OMT has made a significant improvement in my recovery and I am very grateful for his insight in this matter.

The Doctor was very nice and showed me the pictures ( ex rays) to see how bad my knee was. Which I appreciated.

Yes, I just wanted to let you know that I find Dr. Wexler very professional, very succinct, a good sense of humor, and he seemed to like to know what he was talking about. And that's it.

Dr. Wexler gave me some additional perspective about my surgery and he was helpful in getting me some additional PT and an injection. I learned the anesthesiologist I spoke to prior to surgery was not the same as the doctor who was in the OR. Something I plan to discuss with anesthesiology.

Yeah, I guess the only thing I would have to mention is that, um, we waited about an hour and 15 minutes and we, uh, I finally had to go out to the reception and say, Hey, is it normal for someone to wait an hour? And they said, you know, sometimes, and then when the doctor finally came in about an hour and 20 minutes, uh, he said that they had lost us for some reason. and we get lost in the mix. But the service was unbelievable. They treated us so wonderful. We just got a little lost there. We had to wait a while. But that's it. And thank you very much. Signing off.

My experience with care was super

I had to wait quite awhile after the nurse interviewed me for Dr Wexler but he is certainly worth the wait!!! I also had to wait along time in waiting room before they called me inbut that is okay , Dr Wexler is certainly worth waiting for , he is so thorough and has such great people skills

I had a slight delay in seeing my provider as a result of the VA referral process, through no fault of MGMC employees. Dr Wexler is awesome and I always appreciate his humor and bedside manner.

The receptionist that I interactive with had a very lack luster personality and was very rude. She seemed put off with having to check me in almost like she hates her job. This type of behavior should be unacceptable and very unethical. Had I been able to go to Orthopedic Associates of Maine in Portland I would have. The reviews on Google are not very good when it comes to patient experiences with your receptionists. This is something that you need to address, because it is a not very favorable for your business.

They helped me make a critical decision about a surgery.

Neither satisfied or dissatisfied had been referred without discussing this tormented and quality of life .Same all over .Generally Disgusted with Medical Community. THEY GASLIGHT YOU WITH REFERRALS .,and use your Health coverage if you have it,and just like ATM They utilize them like they're Swipe Cards.We should use our voices and Refuse their shoddy health care .Advocate for yourself

Dr. Wexler and team were very knowledgeable, patient oriented, and friendly. Doc Wexler, and team provided me very detailed information in the procedure for total hip replacement. They insured all of my questions were answered, which left me with a level of extreme confidence in their abilities.

Had to wait three months for appointment. Then told I was seeing the wrong person. Now waiting referral to another provider.

Dr. Wexler made me feel rushed and unimportant the entire visit. He could not have been more apathetic towards me and it was our first meeting. He made it clear he was not interested in learning anymore than yes or no answers, he never discussed my images that were sent to him, and he acted as if every question or comment I had was ridiculous. Even when he gave me cortisone shots in my knees, he didn't bother explain anything about it. The entire experience was disappointing and confusing.

I went feeling that I probably wouldn't get my surgery for 3 months, when Dr. W looked at my xrays and said he had an opening next week. I could've cried. I was so happy to think I wouldn't have to bear this pain much longer. This office went above and beyond in my book. Thank you so much!.

Dr. Wexler was a terrific doctor. He fixed my knee and I can't believe how fast I've been moving around and PT is really, really good. Cannot do it without them.

I felt comfortable talking with all members of the team. That is not always the case for me. Everyone involved were very nice.

Short wait in the waiting room, even shorter wait to have xrays done & for Dr Wexler to see me. He took an interest in what I had to say. After telling him of my concerns regarding my pending back surgery at EMMC, he said he could request my records be provided to the MMMC team for review since I have waited months & have not heard back from them despite my several calls & even spoken to 2 schedulers who never got back to me. Dr. Wexler is a patient's advocate to be recognized!

There is a lot of apprehension around a potential surgery. Dr. Wexler set me at ease right away. He asked appropriate questions, listened to my concerns and took the time to answer mine. By the end of the interview, I felt confident that I would be in good hands and well taken care of.
