We were very impressed with the entire team and their coordination with each other and with us. Everyone was skilled, prepared, and polite, and we enjoyed the experience as much as was possible.

The spot the doctor marked on my face to indicate the scar was 1/4 the length of the actual scar. And I only had one round of cutting because the results were clear. I think he should have shown a more realistic depiction. He did not offer any reason, no explanation why it had to be so much larger. The nurses and office staff were friendly and helpful. The doc offered very little information and seemed rather arrogant. The waiting list for cancellation openings experience was frustrating. It was a 4 month wait for this appt. When I got a call about an opening that I couldn't answer immediately because I was at work, even calling back in 5 minutes, I lost the opportunity. Twice. The phone tree during call back is frustratingly long. There should be a direct callback option if one can lose the spot simply for not being able to answer the phone during work hours.

The staff were great and made the experience as comfortable as possible. The only issue I had was having to wait to get in but I was able to get on a waiting list and get in a couple months before my appointment was scheduled.

All I can say is what a wonderful team you have. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating. This surgery I think went the best in years! And I have had my share of surgeries.

The staff were welcoming, reassuring, provided all the information I needed and made what could have been an unpleasant procedure as convenient, easy and unstressful as could be. After my surgery, I ended up having edema and swelling that was not at all explained to me as a possible side effect. And so I think they could have done a better job of managing expectations about that. And when I called the office to ask about it, the office was closed on a Friday, and there was no emergency or number to call for a same-day response.

He was so good and so generous with his time. He took this time to explain everything about MOSE and what would be done with my leg. My son was present with me and my son was so impressed with him also. I would give them, him and the staff and the nurses and everybody there a 10. I could not be happier to say that and I'm looking forward to my surgery because I trust the doctor and I like him. I like him and I know he's just very good and I was very pleased with the experience overall. There's not one negative thing I could say about it.

Superior care! Great system with convenient waiting area. Doc and assistant were incredibly compassionate.

Procedure didn't take a long time but there was a long wait time in between the two sessions. Total time 4.5 hours.

The surgery by Dr. Filitis was outstanding, as was his assistant, and I definitely recommend them.

I'm just a little concerned about the incision a little close to my eyebrow. I just hope it heals all right and looks fairly decent. I did get a black and blue eye, which they said I was going to get. So that's all I have to say, I guess.

Doc Filitis (sp) was very good. I must give nurse Stephanie an off the chart A+ for extraordinary patience and listening skills, so much so I sort of hope I get skin cancer again just so I can spend some more time with her. She was the best of the best and I am a tough grader!

Md was arrogant and apparently w/o compassion, badgering and loud. I've never been treated so rudely. I'm sure he's a good surgeon, but he's not a good doctor, who should treat patients with understanding and compassion, not his ego.

This experience was as pleasant as a visit to friends; everyone kept me relaxed and explained every step on the way. I am very thankful to complete the removal of a skin cancer in one visit, not with return visits as others have been.

I felt everyone cared about me. They cared about me having as little pain as possible. They explained how to take care of my healing and gave me the info again in written materials. That was very important and very helpful. They also let me know in advance to have breakfast and take my pills. I would have wondered whether or not to do those things so it was nice to not have to worry about that.

Best treatment ever. Kept me informed throughout the Mohs procedure

The registration, nursing and surgical services were outstanding. It was clear to me that they had read what history had been provided. Everyone listened to me and fully responded to my questions. I highly recommend the MOHS services without any reservations. Where I believe you need to improve: a clear map displaying the parking lot and entrance walkway is needed; and, more accurate financial/billing information needs to be provided - I was sent the self-pay amounts, even though I have insurance.

I was quite comfortable with Dr. Filitis working on me as he was very professional keeping me apprised of every step being performed and why.

Highly recommend this practice. However, it took more than a month just to make the appointment, which was scheduled 2 months out. Not a good feeling when you have cancer.

Seemed to be a disconnect between my family doc and Mohs. I was told by my doc that Mohs was going to get me in very quickly if at all possible post biopsy. My surgical site healed up and I received no call to make an appointment. It seems like most medical appointments have been difficult post COVID.

It took 3 1/2 months to get an appointment after my referral. There is a shortage of doctors in Maine...especially specialized doctors.

I was very much impressed with the whole facility and especially Dr. Filitis. He's the first doctor that's ever called me after the procedure to check on me and make sure I was doing okay and no complications. The whole experience was very good.

There's a miscommunication or mishap between having surgery during the week and then having no one to call during the weekend if there's a problem with the surgery. I don't know how to fix it. All I know is we try to call and we don't get a call back.

Very skillful and comforting

The waiting room was a welcoming and comfortable place to wait for the procedure to be completed and for the results to be read. It was such a perk to have coffee and light snacks available. The recliners provided relaxing comfort during, what could be, a very long waiting time. Blankets were even provided for those who were chilly, although we found the waiting room be a comfortable temperature.

I was very happy with all of what they did for me. They let me know what was going on. I felt very glad to be in their care. Thank you.
