Colin Lucas, PA-C

Mr. Lucas is my provider. I am so blessed to have him. He cares about his patients and listens to them. I have never felt rushed or that he wasn't listening. I am 75 and can honestly say he is the most kind and caring provider I have had. Mr. Lucas is so respectful. I hope he stays with Gardiner Family for years to come.

I would like to say what a pleasure it is to have Colin as my pcp. He puts patients at ease and shows the utmost respect. I wanted a female Dr. But have come to know Colin and am very happy with him.

I would like the telephone service to be a lot quicker. I know I'm not the only patient, but sometimes it's like hours that the phone, you're waiting for them to either call you back or you're trying to get them and they say to hold on. Our call is very important. I understand that and I understand I'm not the only patient, but it's every time you call, so you get very frustrated and I would like to see that improved a little bit. Thank you.

My PCP was very good at the complete exam and I recommend people to go to that practice very good people

Excellent place and people who work there. Never had a problem there.

Just two comments. One, after my visit, I was scheduled for labs. I came in a couple of days later and even though there was only one person in front of me when I got there shortly after 8, it took about an hour and a quarter just to get a blood work done. So that was a little disconcerting. The second thing is that a couple of days before my appointment, I got a phone call from your automated system telling me that my in-person visit with Colin Lucas was canceled and that he would be contacting me by phone. Fortunately, I checked with the office and they said, no, that was an error. But it sounds like you have a serious problem with your automated system. That's all I have. Thank you.

Colin Lucas is one of the best. He is very thorough explaining what is going on. Seems very caring and discusses everything very clear

Very attentive and friendly

Front end needs work and better customer service. If you need to call you have to wait on hold 5-10 or more. It's not as personal since the practice moved. Urgent care added a lot of wait time to check in and out. I have been a patient about 25 years and thinking of changing. The billing department could be improved.

Love love love my care team! Colin takes care to dig into history and medical concerns and tries to discus what could be causes for those concerns. I actually feel I am spending time with friends but we are just focused on discussing medical topics haha

Yes, the lady I had before Colin come in was excellent, made me feel comfortable fine. Colin himself is beyond excellent. He cares, he listens, and he knows. No question with him. He's excellent. He's a huge asset for Maine General Medical Center and the Gardner Family Practice and the patients around town. Thank you.

I'm quite satisfied with the clinic the staff A very friendly and very pleasant to talk to. I've never had to wait long to get into see the doctor. I don't mind the ride it takes me 35 to 40 minutes to arrive there, but I prefer the clinical to some of the places here in Augusta

Well my appointment was at 9:00 and I didn't get in until 9:30 then went to give bloodwork and had to wait again because paperwork was misplaced. So I arrived there before nine and didn't leave until eleven clock over two hours.

Colin is always asks the right questions and seems genuinely interested in my wellbeing.

The only dissatisfaction that I had. I was struggling manipulate my wheelchair. To get to the. Examination room and the MA just stood there and watched me.. The MA also did not identify herself by name. I had to ask her.

Two days after my visit, I got a phone call from Garden of Family Medicine, and they said that my A1C was 4.5. Well, I never had blood work done, so I'm not sure where they got the A1C from, but it wasn't mine. Thank you.

First time here. My pa was great, very comfortable with him.

The only issue I have is how difficult it is to get an appointment.Waiting a month or more when you have a health condition is a hard thing to do.

The medical assistant was exceptional.
