I don't think annual exams do anything for me. At other practices I've gone to, they do an actual FULL exam. This one is ridiculous. They don't check much of anything and it's honestly a waste of time. I feel like the issues I'm concerned about are dismissed and I don't need anyone to tell me what I should be eating/doing...I know what I should be doing. It's ACTUALLY DOING IT that's the problem. It's really disappointing because I work for this system and I don't think the level of care is good.

The staff and practitioner were excellent but the physical did not seem very thorough. I don't believe the practitioner is responsible for this but it seems the protocol had them focus on mental health and the potential for addiction or abuse at home. As an adult I would let someone know if I had such concerns or needed help in those areas. My prior physician who ran his own practice would do a complete physical exam including prostate. Again, the practitioner I had was great overall but the physical focused less on the physical/anatomical and felt much more like a psychiatric evaluation.

This was my first visit with Christina Brooks who replaced Dr. McKay. I found her to be patient, interested and asked questions to better determine my concerns and condition. It's always an adjustment establishing a relationship with a new provider, but after one visit I feel confident that this will be a smooth transition and my future concerns will be considered thoughtfully.

This was a 3-mo. diabetes follow-up so limited time. Had a different medical assistant this time, so was not exposed to a militant, obnoxious person who believed disrespecting older persons was her right and duty. Most of my complaints to my primary care were due to billing errors in co-pays that have persisted for several years. Please adequately train the coding staff. Most of my medical conditions are with me to the end, so I am not the best person to speak to whether my care is adequate. None of the classes that may help are scheduled during daylight so I can attend. For over thirty years I have had diabetes and have never consulted an endocrinologist. I spoke to a P.A. once who wanted to over medicate me. The side effects of the new weight loss drugs are very dangerous. Thanks for listening. dp

My appt was at 3, I was seen by the practitioner at 4, she seemed disengaged. She asked me a few questions and then had me sit on the table where she looked in my ears and throat listened to my lungs and belly. It took all of 2 mins. What happened to checking people for bad moles or doing a breast exam. She asked if I had any moles I was concerned about but I can't see my back? She never checked me out.Physicals just aren't like they used to be and when I left I felt like it was a huge waste of time.

Hi, I met with Christina Brooks, the position assistant, the other day. It went quite well. She's very pleasant, friendly, accurate. She gave me all the assistance I needed. I want her to be my provider, if at all possible, to get back to me. If not, I will call. I'll hopefully get back to her in good time. Again, she was friendly, positive. She was very accurate. She did a great job. Thank you.

This was my fourth different provider in four years. I didn't expect her to know my history. The physical was not really an in-depth exam especially since I have no history with this provider. The whole thing took about 20 minutes. The only reason it took that long was I had her look at my sore knee. She did order an x-ray and did a PT referral. I have had two other knee surgeries on my right knee. I am not optimistic that PT is going to work. The x-ray did not address the pain I have on the inside of my knee (medial). Last, I really don't like filling out those questionnaires handed to me before I saw the provider, so I didn't do it this year.

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit, particularly about the midlevel provider who cared for me. While the ancillary staff were great, and I truly appreciated the care from Faith, the medical assistant, I had concerns about my interaction with the midlevel provider. She didn't make eye contact with me and, unfortunately, I felt as though I was more of a burden for her or something she needed to "get through" in order to complete her day. She didn't conduct a physical examination, despite my concerns about tightness in my throat and chest. Given my symptoms, I would have expected a more thorough evaluation, perhaps listening to my heart, but instead, the only advice I received was what I had already suggested, which I had heard from another doctor. As an MG employee, I understand that I have other providers to reach out to, but my concern lies with our patients. My hope is that they are not experiencing similar care when seeing Brooks, as it's important for patients to feel valued and heard.
