Cassandra "Casey" Sanko, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained shoulder and elbow surgeon who specializes in treating both operative and nonoperative injuries and chronic conditions affecting the shoulder, upper arm and elbow. She performs shoulder and elbow arthroplasty (anatomic and reverse total shoulder replacements, elbow replacements) as well as arthroscopic and open shoulder and elbow repairs. She also performs fracture fixation of the clavicle, shoulder, upper arm and elbow. There was confusion about which shoulder we were discussing for this visit. An MRI had to be rescheduled along with this visit initially due to the wrong shoulder being on the paperwork. It was corrected for the MRI, but this particular followup visit the wrong shoulder was still listed on the paperwork and the staff that speaks to you before the doctor comes in had to correct it again. (Both shoulders have been discussed at appointments due to problems and surgeries with both shoulders.) All staff (especially Dr. Sanko-she is wonderful!) got it taken care of. Thank you.

Dr. Sanko and Med. Assist. are wonderful. Not rushed, answered questions, provided additional information. Prompt answers on Portal as well. people at ortho. desk are friendly and smile and greet one, if not on the phone. X-ray person friendly and gentle. Couldn't be better.

Referral process and making appointments needs a great deal of improvement. Also taking over 20 minutes to answer the phone when they asked me to call back was ridiculous. I've been a lifelong patient and had never needed to go through the referral team before which delayed needed. treatment

Everyone from check in to pre-op nurses to anesthesiologists in or prep teams were totally professional courteous and comforting. Recovery room nurses show the same professionalism and care till they will be out the front door thank you very much for the excellent care.

Well, everybody there was pretty patient with me and they were nice with me and so forth. So I guess the care is great. I get along. My nurses and the doctor that's there that gives me my injections and yeah, we're pretty much all on the same page. So yeah.

I was thoroughly impressed with the staff.. The time spent and care given was just what I needed. Dr. Sanko was amazing. I trusted her knowledge right off and that of the staff. The hands on care I'm happy to say is excellent. Everyone is cheerful and inviting and I love that feeling of a happy enviornment. It tells not only that the patients are treated well but also that the staff is. I'm pleased to see this because a happy enviornment really builds trust.

Chairs in exam rooms should have arms on them and not be so low for handicapped people such as myself . The Doctor went above and beyond explaining my shoulder problems and the X-ray Team gets an A++ .
