Every geriatric person should be able to have a team like this. Unfortunately they are not taking any new patients so many of my friends are not treated by teams who understand the medical needs of people over 60. Also the doors to clinic are heavy and hard to open especially for those of who use walkers, canes and wheelchairs.

Dr. Smith takes great care in connecting with her patients and their families. She listens to their concerns, asks questions to garner a deeper understanding, and then takes the time to engage the patient and family in the decision making process. Our family is grateful that Dr. Smith has been part of our father's care team. She has become a trusted resource during a complicated, emotional, and stressful time.

The care team at the geriatric center, Dartmouth Clinic, always has helped me with my mom as I'm helping to take care of her and the only one. They always listened and cared and helped me in any way that I needed. If it would be prescribing a medicine or helping me with assistance with paperwork or notes or any kind of help for caretaking for my mom, that would help her. They always were willing to listen and help me in any way they could and it's been a pleasure having them help us. Thank you.
