Personally I have only one complaint. My caregiver wants to wean me down of my lorazapam. The thought of that alone makes me anxious. Its 1 mg a day at most. I get 56 0.5 mg tablets a month. I just wish he would Stop talking about it. My wife however has a lot of health issues and she is NOT getting the care she needs and would not recommend Maine General to anyone.

I liked that Dr. Loring didn't automatically jump to surgical treatment for my problem and is trying other remedies to see if that can take care of the issue. I appreciated not having to seek that surgery was the only option. Thank you. Bye.

I had no complaints. Everything was great.

Dr. Loring was phenomenal, so was his nurse assisting. As someone with anxiety and a huge fear of needles, they made me feel very relaxed and safe. I am recommending him and his office to anyone who needs it.

I do NOT LIKE Maine general Hospital. However I need surgery on my toes & Dr. Loring was highly recommended, so I went for an appointment. I was VERY pleased that I will NOT have to go the the Augusta hospital. It will be done at Thayer in Waterville. I have had a number of bad experiences with the Augusta hospital.

I found Dr. Loring to be caring and he advised me of the next steps to recovery. It was good to learn I will be out of my cast in another three weeks!

when we get the lab work back we should know more

Excellent and professional communication with Dr Loring and staff.

It puts a bad taste in our mouth when you hear the staff talking about you in the hall while your in the exam room. There where problems with this referral right from the beginning. As a patient I should have the right to ask questions and for things to be clear with my questions answered.

I was more than 45 minutes waiting for my scheduled appointment. When I finally got in he spent 15-20 minutes with me. I didn't have much of a chance to ask any questions. Set up some things for me to do. Went to get prescription at pharmacy and it had not been called in, he didn't give it to their office. Had plenty of time as I went to pharmacy the next day. 1st impression was not too good.

Dr. Loring services were and are helping me meet and maintain my health goals with my feet issues. Thank you. Staff supported me above and beyond. I did find it uncomfortable cold / air conditioner.

A little disappointed that my treatment can't start sooner

Dr said how long have you been on medication & had no idea provider from the podiatry practice rx'd 2 weeks ago. Then Dr said why are you here because I don't need to see you for minimum of 6 weeks after starting prescription to see if that works before surgical intervention. Then Dr said we don't have podiatry ortho supplies for surgery now & hopefully we do in 4 weeks when you follow up. I essentially paid $50 copay & took time off from work to attend podiatry appointment the practice scheduled for me for nothing. I was very uncomfortable with the podiatry provider and cancelled the follow up with him. I asked to see a different provider after I conducted research. The practice scheduler refused to schedule me with the podiatry provider I asked for & said they'll call me back. I have not had a call back. I also asked for the practice manager to call me to discuss. Also, as of this date, no call from the practice manager. I'm very surprised about this experience so far. Very concerning so far with my first 2 visits.

I'm still waiting for a copy of the notes for my visit.

Dr. Loring and his staff have always made my care a priority from being attentive to my injury, any questions I have to teaching me how to be proactive in my care. I had a severe injury and long recovery that they made more bareable by their skills & professionalism.

Everything was very efficient. We had good discussions and it was a pleasant and helpful appointment.

He is, I don't know, he's not there all the time. He does not follow up on his patients. He does not, he makes prescriptions and then he forgets he made them and remakes them again.

Too quick. Not enough hands on for diagnosis.

Very competent provider and most informative provider thus far

The only thing that I was disappointed in is my appointment was at 2:15 and I was not brought out back until 45 to 50 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. So therefore, I was late for other engagements that day. But other than that, the visit was fine.

I did have a little bit of a wait for the appointment to be scheduled, but it was worth the wait. The staff were awesome and Dr. Loring was as well. What I liked about Dr. Loring was the fact he involved me in the process and explained things. He was kind.

Every time I go in and see Loring, everything is awesome and he shares everything. Yes, and he does everything.

The doctor was very helpful for my visit and but the nurses and the clerk outside and the people that took me to x-rays and stuff, they hardly spoke to me, they wasn't friendly and I think that they were kind of stuck up on that end of the deal. But the doctor was very good. Thank you.
