doctors don't listen, they just move forward under their fear of doing the wrong thing. She was nice enough, but not actually kind. Just pragmatic like every other care provider who think their patients are calling wolf.

Experience at Gastro was great however I was sent for bloodwork. I waited 2 hours to be registered. This is a very poor system that you have. It should NOT take that long.

The ER one of the Drs that was in the room where you get vitals , the one taking my vitals was awesome , the ER Dr in there with him was very rude , i came close of walking out , definitely so rude care givers in the Er.

I'm thankful that I could see Ashley Roy again for my 6 month follow up. It's very apparent that she works closely with Dr. Kheder. She was willing & able to look into my records & tell me what had been done. She answered a lot of my questions & gave me more details about the meaning of words and my diagnosis. This helped me to understand. I felt very comfortable with her from the first time I saw her. It is obvious that she is very knowledgeable. She offered another possible solution, a different drug class, that I can try. She helped me to be more confident of my decisions . She is very personable as well. I'm thankful for her care. I believe she is a great asset to Dr. Kheder & to the Maine General Gastroenterology department.

Ms. Roy was extremely helpful. She discussed all my GI issues and whether or not testing was needed. She also made recommendations about diet and medication. She was thorough and covered everything in depth and in very clear language. And she was extremely personable. She deserves an A+!

Yes, Ashley was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable and gave me information that makes me feel very comfortable and going forward and dealing with my issues. I would like to say that it would be awfully nice if all the hospitals in Maine had access to the records of the patients because sometimes I go to Franklin, sometimes I go to CMMC, and sometimes I go to Maine General. And all of them have been wonderful, but it would be really nice if they were incorporated so that each one has my information or information from any patient. But Ashley was wonderful and I'd go back to her. I would recommend her and the department, the whole department, the whole hospital was fantastic. So thank you.

I had never met Ashley Roy and she was very familiar with my history. I had questions about my plan of treatment due to cancer concerns and she listened carefully and respectfully. She was extremely supportive and validated my self advocacy. Within one day I received notice from the Dr. she conferred with and he supported my concerns for a revised plan moving forward. Ashley was knowledgeable and professional and an excellent patient advocate.
