Dr. Ranganath is a fellowship-trained pulmonary and critical care specialist who treats patients at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta as a member of the MaineGeneral Pulmonary medical staff. He previously worked as a MaineGeneral Medical Center (MGMC) hospitalist from 2009 to 2013 and also served as director of the MaineGeneral Wound Clinic in Augusta from 2012 to 2013. Dr. Ranganath offers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as pulmonary function tests, management of mechanical ventilation, endotracheal intubation, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, flexible bronchoscopy with transbronchial and endobronchial lung biopsy, endobronchial ultrasound with transbronchial needle aspiration, critical care ultrasound, critical care echocardiography and invasive cardiac monitoring.
