Arun Ranganath, MD, is a fellowship-trained pulmonary and critical care specialist who treats patients at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta as a member of the MaineGeneral Pulmonary medical staff. All my questions and concerns were addressed by the doctor. His approach to reaching my prognosis was great! He listened to my answers to his questions and then explained how my replies correlated to what was going on with me. This was an eye opening experience. Outstanding doctor!

My Dr was very thorough and spent a lot of time with me. Gave me all my options and possible outcome's. He didn't act rushed and I feel very confident with him as my care giver. The cat scan staff were also very pleasant and helpful..

Dr. Ranganath is a superb physician. Very knowledgeable, compassionate, with a great bedside manner. I trust him completely. Very good explaining medical issues to my wife who always feels reassured after our visit. Can't say enough good things about him.

It conflicted with what I was told by the ER doctor and by the doctor I saw in the hospital. I was led to believe that my condition was much more serious than what Dr. Ranganath conveyed to me. Considering he is the lung expert, I will have to trust his expertise. It is difficult when you are told one thing by two doctors and something entirely different by a third. I felt my concerns were not heard before things progressed to the level they did.

My experience at Dr. R's office was wonderful. He put me at ease kidded around, and was very very funny. His nurse was wonderful too very positive lady.
