Anthony Bekasiak, MD, is a fellowship-trained pulmonary and critical care specialist who treats patients at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta as a member of the MaineGeneral Pulmonary medical staff, which he joined in April 2025. Dr. Bekasiak offers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. He has a particular clinical interest in bronchoscopic intervention including EBUS-TBNA, critical care medicine, lung cancer screening, pleural disease, interstitial lung disease, COPD, asthma and pulmonary rehabilitation. Before joining MaineGeneral Pulmonary, Dr. Bekasiak practiced at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, where he also served as medical director of the intensive care unit.
