Create blackout poetry by taking text from the pages of an old book, yesterday’s newspaper or a favorite magazine and piece together single words or short phrases to create your very own poetry. Once your words are chosen, color the rest of the page with solid color, doodles, abstract patterns or images inspired by the words. No writing or visual art experience required! Materials will be provided, but you can bring your own if desired.
