Federal Non-Discrimination Compliance
MaineGeneral Health complies with applicable federal civil rights laws. Maine Human Rights Act (MHRA) Compliance
In accordance with the Maine Human Rights Act, MaineGeneral Health does not discriminate in the provision of health care services on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability, or any other status protected by Maine law.
MaineGeneral Health values our patients, their visitors, employees, medical staff, volunteers, students and others.
MaineGeneral Health:
- Provides free aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us, such as:
- Qualified sign language interpreters
- Written information in other formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats, other formats)
