Primary Care Options

With Northern Light Inland Hospital’s announcement March 13 that it will be closing, we are getting a high volume of calls regarding access to MaineGeneral primary care practices. Currently, we have limited capacity to accept new patients. 

If you are interested in becoming a patient of a MaineGeneral primary care practice, please fill out our online form at: www.mainegeneral.org/pcp-interest.

Please understand it will take us time to work through the process of being able to respond to the increased demand, but we wanted there to be a way to capture the requests for PCP services.

If you are already a patient of a MaineGeneral Primary Care Practice, please make sure you either keep your scheduled appointment or let us know – at your earliest convenience – that you need to reschedule. This helps us make sure we have every patient slot filled. With the increased need in our community, we need to get patients in when we have appointment slots open up. This helps us serve you and all our community members better.
