Stephen Meister, MD, receives award from Maine Children’s Alliance

Dr. Stephen Meister, medical director of the Edmund N. Ervin Pediatric Center, was presented with a 2020 Giraffe Award from the Maine Children’s Alliance for lifetime achievement from the Maine Children’s Alliance. The award recognizes Dr. Meister’s commitment and work to improve health care for children statewide.

“Dr. Meister has been the driving force behind some of the most important children’s programs and initiatives over the past 25 years – locally, statewide and nationally,” said Chuck Hays, president & CEO of MaineGeneral Health. “He’s a proven leader on issues related to children’s behavioral and developmental needs, and has dedicated his talents to improving the lives of all children in Maine.”
