Bone Builders is a community-based osteoporosis prevention education program for older women and men.
Its goals are to have participants learn more about osteoporosis and nutrition, improve their balance and increase their energy level and sense of well-being.
Bone Builders consists of:
- Discussions on nutrition, medicine and lifestyle
MaineGeneral RSVP is seeking men and women age 55 and older to become trainers for the Bone Builders program and work in a team setting to lead classes, twice weekly, in their communities.
